NetworkNinja Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Good afternoon all, Just a quick one, we are looking at buying 63 computers and we currently have had a quote from a company called IDNS. I am wondering if anyone has heard or used this company before because I can't seem to find any reviews. On there website they have 3 case studies so I have called the schools up and they don't seem to know who they are. Plus when i click on the case studies nothing seems to load. notalot Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Worked with them in the past however recent quotes haven't been massively competitive. When we were using them we had no problems at all.
ellsandell Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 We use them at the moment - mainly for AV stuff. Have had some issues with their finance department and them missing an installation date, apart from that our Manager is fantastic.
FN-GM Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I don't like them. They installed 50 + IWB's in my last school. Had a problem with 1 or 2 and wasn't helpful at all. Refused to speak to us about them.

halbaradkenafin Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I've used them in the past for IWB installs and they were pretty good at that. I'd probably look at ICT Direct or Very for new PCs though.

MrLudwig Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Another thumbs up from me, used them quite a lot for all sorts of things for years and never had a problem. Our sales rep is Bethan, she's absolutely first rate and will always do whatever she can to help. She deals with quite a few schools so knows how things tend to work, along with the various idiosyncrasies we often encounter. They are not always the cheapest initially, but they will try their best to beat any competitor quote if they can.
RichCowell Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) Got to say - though I'm not denying experiences such as mine seem to be in the minority - We had a couple of IWBs installed by them years ago, and weren't impressed with their after-sales support, so didn't use them again, so I now class them in the same category as NS Optimum IC Technology and Millennium... I've been fed up with their cold calls, despite requesting numerous times over the years to stop and remove us from their lists... I've added their domain to my spam filter too...
