Hi, I have been told by someone who uses unifi access points that these poe switches work with them as i am buying unifi aps in april. The switch is ZyXEL GS1900-24HP. would this work? Thanks

I use them all the time. Great never had a problem with them.

So after 4 hours of scanning the computer and assuiming shadow copies was off it was actually on and i got the file back with no problem.

What free programs do you all use to recover deleted files? Got a member of staff who has deleted a zip file and needs it. I have tried recuva but it says This file is overwritten with "" and unrecoverable. Thanks in advance, Ryan

i had this problem. Does the wifi definitely connect? Have you got proxy details in the wifi profile? Also i made sure that i pushed the wifi profile first and then ticked the next profile to install i didnt do them both together when i was first pushing the wifi. The other thing i done was after the wifi profile had installed i would then make sure i was at the home screen and then tick the next profile obviously leaving the wifi profile ticked to. Do you also have a reverse look up?

Yer it is Azure. Thank you all for your help. I spoke to someone from azure and office 365 and they still cant tell me what will happen when it runs out so I am hoping no staff lose any data! I guess I will have to wait and see. Thanks Again, Ryan

So am I right in thinking I do not really have to worry about this don't lose your data message if I literally want to use DirSync? Is that what Access to Azure Active Directory is?

Hi, I am just wondering if you can help me. I signed up to the Azure trial but then i cancelled the trial a while ago. Now when i sign in to office 365 i get an error saying Dont Lose Your Data. 46 Days Remaining. What will this mean? I have tried speaking to Office 365 support who then said i need to speak to Azure support. I have spoken to Azure support and now they are saying speak to office 365. I am confused and obviously don't want to lose any data. I thought Azure was free for dirsync? Thanks, Ryan

Hi all, Thank you for this information. What I have decided to do is use tree comp to transfer all the files over and then hopefully at the end it will tell me what errors it had and then I should be able to correct them and then copy them over. The drive is actually 2tb and tree comp is reporting it will take 2 days. Thank you again for your help. I will try the other ways when I get the errors.

That way works but i was just wondering if there was a quicker way or even a way to copy the whole drive. Its not just one there is hundreds of them!! I have been doing this and also renaming them and it is just taking far to long. Thanks

Hi, We have a staff shared area that is 1TB. I am trying to move it from a Qnap NAS to a windows 2012 r2 server. The only problem is teachers have put folders inside of folders and they are silly long. I am wondering what you would all do in this situation? Thanks, Ryan

I asked them is there anyway we can get a previous version but they cant supply it. I am just wondering if any of you know of any alternatives? Do you have a link where i can sign up to the free one? as i have tried signing up but i only got a trial of premium. Also with this will the staff passwords copy to office 365 so they don't have to use different passwords to login and then for their email?

Hi, I am just wondering if you can help me. I have folder redirection in place for my documents. When a user clicks desktop when saving and then clicks the username there is 2 My Documents one goes to C:\Users\Username\My documents and the other goes to \\Servername\Userprofiles$\Username\My Documents I am just wondering if their is anyway to get rid of the C:\ one?? I worked in a secondary school doing volunteer ICT work to gain experience. In the summer holidays the whole school was getting new floor put down so they screened the floor from the third floor down to the ground floor. Obviously once the floor was wet nobody went up their. The a few days later their was noises coming from the third floor so the site manager went to have a look when he got up their there was nothing but 2 tiny foot prints in the floor the size of a childs foot. A few times when I was their strange things would happen. I remember turning the lights off in the ICT room then I realised I left a computer on walked to the back of the class to shut it down and then the lights in the class turned themselves back on.

Glad you sorted it. You can make them work by editing the Internet settings.xml file in sysvol policies folder and then change the version number to say 99 so it will cover you from version 9 to 99

Maybe set one up as a test. Has your computers downloaded IE11? I think by default it sets the security levels to high. Or check computer settings in case it is done by that instead of user?

You can also do this by browsing the sysvol file and getting internet settings.xml open in notepad find version and just change to 99. This works fine.
