He formed himself out of the pile of discarded iPad boxes. Tried to take over the school. Now he just sits there quietly in the corner waving through the window

Sure that I have mentioned this before but my office used to be a toilet and still has frosted windows. Unfortunately the installers put them in the wrong way so people can see in better than I can see out...

I'm in the exact same situation!

Looking through the photos I seem very fortunate to have an area which is big enough to image ten pc's at a time - before deployment to the classrooms.

What do those with smaller spaces have to do? Image in situ I guess.....must be a pain....

I try and do the PC replacements during term-time so that the holidays we can do more maintenance on hardware and IWB, projector replacements etc

work whereever i can. in one of the schools i work in they are currently having a new building done so they have lost (and arnt replacing) the ict suite so when im there i have a choice sit in the serer room (which means i have about enough space to sit down at the server as long as i sit on the floor (tables too low for a sensible chair and the kiddie chairs are worse than the floor) or as i tend to do (and imaged 16 laptops there in batches) work on the kitchen counter in the staff room (for some reason it has 4 network/power sockets) but isually i reimage in place or unplug suite/library/shared area pcs if i can but esp if its laptops i have been known to comendeer any room with power and a network point a spare switch and as many 4 gangs as i can get and just work on the floor

I have 3 spare network points in my room... so I can only do 3 at a time. Only takes about 20 mins though, so not too painful. If I were desperate, I could hook up a 24 port switch, but then it would be a H&S nightmare! :D

Image in situ, mainly during holidays very rare we do any major re-imaging during term time.
