Turns out I can't use the frigs that they dish out don't have the skills. Gotta train those up. Might head back into secure space to inject a bunch of skills. Saves waiting on the nightly ferries. Able to web him? Or get a dedicated tackler to tag along. Yeah, I did have someone help out eventually. Same thing happened with the next guy, though. I probably could've webbed him, but I gave up, joined a corp and moved to nullsec. Seemed the better option lol.

If you have infomorph psychology trained install a jump clone in Dek, set your staging there as your death clone station. then when you get to empire you can inject skills and jump clone back to null sec. That way empire is just a jump clone away. Did you ask in corp? i think they hand out most basic skill books for pilots.
LiamHaith Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 If your character is less than 3 months old, you're able to get the 60 Day Skillbook plan which will cover you with all T2 fittings and work towards getting the Platinum Ishtar fitting (as well as suicide ganking skills for hisec) Also, if you join the free figates chat, you can request T1 fittings. Typically they have fewer, but they do have some. Additionally, if you're looking to play repper, I have 50 maulus' fitted up you can have. I need them out my garage, I currently use them for scouting gates

I can't fly the free frigates yet but I bought the skills I needed and they're currently training. Gonna have to find a way to earn me up some dosh.. Went out in a fleet tonight. Didn't find any action save a few gate camping rats. Ah well. Maybe next time. What's a repper? Repairer? I'm currently in what the FC called a 'Tackle Frigate'.

Myself and @Garacesh made alts, complete with our own little Corp. We're currently stationed in high sec and training up. We could always do with a few more able bodied folks (I'd recommend if you're joining to have an alt to join on, since currently we don't do much other than mining to pay the bills)

If anybody is interested in ratting or exploration, you'd be ideal, but of course The League of Fabulous Gentlemen (Ladies permitted) welcome any and all Sometimes it's just more fun to get out of lowsec and have a bit more control over what you want to do.
LiamHaith Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Correction, I have one character training for Hauling in General (Though Blockade Runners before Freighters, admittedly) and another into Mining Barges. Which when I can fly a T1 Mining Barge, I'll be switching over to Mission Running/Exploration (and with that, be able to do some feeble PvP). Ideally a few months down the line, we'll be either living in Wormhole space, or in Low/Null but still having complete freedom and just having a POS somewhere for refining and construction. Certainly be nice to have a few more faces on Teamspeak when running mining operations though.

I'd have to join with my main though, don't really want to waste the 80mil or so SP I've got, I think the alt on that account has research skills and a bit of hauling though.

Oh you're more than welcome to join on your main. Chances are if I keep enjoying playing in high/low sec as much as I am, I'll end up moving my main over just purely from the freedom. The ability to do whatever I want is really appealing. I've played ALOT more since I made these alts instead of living in the pentagoon. The security of being in a powerhouse corp is nice, but also limiting when you're low SP and can't really rat or mine efficiently. You can't run missions because they're all high level (and you'll get ganked) and all that jazz. EDIT: Besides, someone who can use big cannons is always a necessity

Garacesh Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Well the League started off as a bit of a goofball 'do it because we can' idea but then me and Liam started drafting out strategies, long-term planning what skills we'd spec, etc. Stuff that you just don't tend to do on your 'first' account, and now it's become a bit of a serious venture. So everyone is welcome I already have a Covetor fitted out with 3x Strip Miners, 2x Mining Laser Upgrade I's and 2x Mining Drone I's (Drones skill is only Lv2 atm) but I'm also going to train up Light Drone Usage so I can use drones to defend myself in belts and start mining something better than Scordite.
