I can spend 3 hours a night gaming. I generally get home for 5 oclock, do some chores like make tea, wash up and iron the next days clothes. Between me and the misses that is. Then around 9 oclock hits im upstairs in my den.

I'm really into ARMA 3 EPoch atm,

wish Dayz would hurry up!

I also play F1 2014

Grid Autosport

I Racing

Steam: =TBP=MaCDuFF

FF14

Hearthstone

Heroes of the Storm

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

Rogue Legacy

Have kept me fairly engrossed enough not to go out and impulse buy other games for a little while.

GTA5 on ps3

The ship on pc

Find it really hard to find games interesting these day. Games were so much better on PS2 and more enjoyable as there was more game and less " look at me, im a hi def tree " going on.

On account of my PC breaking and having to deal with a rubbish old laptop til I can save for a new rig:

Dawn of war: winter assault

Pokemon diamond (working my way through them all on an emulator)

Minecraft made possible with optifine mod

When I had my gaming rig it was nothing but battlefield 4 every night!

Super Meat Boy

Binding of Isaac

Spelunky

All dirt-cheap on Steam, all easily playable on even the most poopy of PC's and all unbelievably fun. Spelunky and The Binding of Isaac are even procedurally generated (whereas the fun thing about Super Meat Boy is how difficult it is)

Actually my Avatar (and signature) are just crafted from two of twenty video-game related wallpapers I use at work 'cause I was bored with not having any pictures on here :D

However, on a regular basis, what games DO you actually PLAY daily / in the week?

I seem to play fewer and fewer games but there are categories which I generally have something I play when I need to scratch a particular kind of itch. It's the itches which seem to persist. So we have :

1. Some kind of driving/racing sim. These have been a staple since I was feeding coin into Out Run machines. It got serious with Geoff Crammond's GP series which sucked up months of play time in competition with Papyrus Indycar stuff. Now it is Assetto Corsa or iRacing, the latter being my go to sim for better quality online racing.

2. Some kind of Strategy : Age of Empires, C&C, Total Annihilation and lately the Wargame series. TA has kept me going back to it for years, I lucked out with it popping back up again in the Spring engine.

3. Turn based strategy : Civilisation or Total War - particularly Empire/Napoleon. I did try Europa Universalis and it is almost as complicated as Blender.

4. Flight Sim : I'd probably count Elite Dangerous in this, although that will probably lie dormant for a while until it is better balanced. Other notables have to be x-plane who's "land a chopper on the back of a frigate" is a challenge even without any weather. Rise of Flight should get a mention, it's gorgeous but so difficult on-line.

5. Some FPS : from Doom to Far Cry, I find I'm engaged less and less by FPS but on a rainy winters night, Team Fortress or counterstrike can quickly scratch that itch.

6. Some kind of builder : Sim City or Tycoon types, Open TTD seems to keep popping up and currently Cities : Skylines has sucked up a few more hours than is strictly healthy.

Which seems a lot but all of those seem to share far fewer hours a week than they used to. I spend more time on blender, OpenSCAD, Arduino etc than I do on games these days. Maybe that is a function of getting old(er).
