Was really good to see you, I finally had the courage to talk to I think it was Russell ( sorry I'm rubbish with names) about Vlanning with the help of @bossman. @vikpaws seamed to change gender while I was there which was confusing. Also got offered a hob nob by I think @Little-Miss but she seamed shy?

Then that wasn't @Little-Miss. :p

Also, thanks to @DaveP for becoming future Dave so I could be the less beardy Dave from the past... [it makes sense in context... but you get no explanation.]

And thanks to everyone at the stand for not telling me to go away. :p

If we hadn't lost our voices, we might have tried! We needed to preserve what little croak we had left. :D

And keeping you on the stand meant we got to chat to your Mum again :) We love you really :grouphug:

It's almost as if I have friends!

Or a non awful family... :p

What do you mean 'almost'. EduFriends are real friends :)

When's the last time you lot said "ey cousin Dani, let's go bowling" or something similar?

:p

Random thanks to anyone and everyone who brought a 3DS to BETT. I got so many streetpasses.

Back on topic, I'd like to thank @Dos_Box for taking us for a lovely meal on the Saturday evening, and of course for his organisation for the BETT stand :)

Trying to organise EduGeeks is somewhat like herding cats. His Whatsapp posts in the mornings were definitely in 'Dad mode'. "Kaz get up", "Shaun your clean shirt is outside your door"...

How on earth he does it without having a nervous breakdown, I have no idea!

  • Thanks 2

The sad thing is that until someone points it out I don't know I'm doing it!

Not my first BETT, but my first as a member of the edugeek family! Thanks in particular to Elsiegee40 for making me feel so welcome on Saturday. With ref to Dos Box's first post, does this mean that there are some more socks up for grabs? There weren't any there when I stopped by, and I would so love a pair...(creep, grovel, etc etc)

Had a lovely time at my first Bett show, sometimes it can be quite over whelming with so many people and such a big place to get around it's nice to know you guys are there as a safe haven for a few moments!!

It was lovely to put faces to EduNames and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Hope you all had a great time also!!! :)

...and I even had the courage to admit that I was a (looks round furtively and drops voice to a whisper) 'teacher' - and no-one hit me!

I used to think you were cool, man...
