Hi all

I've got a server that doesn't play nicely when SCCM rolls Forefront onto it i.e. 100% CPU usage etc. Is it possible to exclude machines so that SCCM doesn't identify them not having Forefront installed and installing it. It seems near enough as quick as I remove it, it gets reinstalled.

Thanks

Andrew

I'm a long way from having much of a clue about SCCM, but my first thought is to suggest a rule to filter the collection to exclude the machines e.g. "Is member of domain" and "machinename is not serverx1"?

That would be my suggestion too. Either that or have a couple of collections dedicated to Anti-Virus management. Assemble your query for the AV Deployment collection to exclude the machines on which you don't want AV installed and have a client setting attached to that collection which manages your AV deployment and management
