Sylv3r Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Hi all I've got a server that doesn't play nicely when SCCM rolls Forefront onto it i.e. 100% CPU usage etc. Is it possible to exclude machines so that SCCM doesn't identify them not having Forefront installed and installing it. It seems near enough as quick as I remove it, it gets reinstalled. Thanks Andrew
psydii Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I'm a long way from having much of a clue about SCCM, but my first thought is to suggest a rule to filter the collection to exclude the machines e.g. "Is member of domain" and "machinename is not serverx1"?
Norphy Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 That would be my suggestion too. Either that or have a couple of collections dedicated to Anti-Virus management. Assemble your query for the AV Deployment collection to exclude the machines on which you don't want AV installed and have a client setting attached to that collection which manages your AV deployment and management
