g0fjs Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 we have just built 30 desktops on CC4, however 3 of them are showing up as tablets Looking at the properties, it appears to be read only Can this be changed without rebuilding the machine Thanks - Pete
southhamster Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Don't know what the answer is but we have this too.
notsogenius Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 As far as i'm aware you just have to turn off tablet features in Add/Remove Windows Features. I'll double check when i'm back to work on Monday.
kai91 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Hi we had the same issue and it was the smartboard software being installed on the machines that caused this as the RMMC saw the touch screen driver for the board. Hope this helps
Techykev Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Yep Smartboard drivers is the cause, there is a fix on the RM knowledgebase but its a little long winded so we never bothered applying it.
foofighterjim Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Same as @kai91, our IWB workstations show like this with Smartboard software on.
Nibiru Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Yup ours with the smartboard s/w are the same. Ignore it, its not doing any harm.
Sylv3r Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 If your using Promethean boards the same thing happens.
andyturpie Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Any interactive whiteboard which is attached via USB is fair game - this is decided at the plug and play driver installation of the build.
