tech_guy Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 .....you come in in the morning and try to open your office door with your remote smart car key....
Edu-IT Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I tried to put the dirty washing in the bin the other day when I woke up, and then get into the car from the passenger side. That was a bad day.
foofighterjim Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Couldn't count to 5 the other day when measuring baby foofighterjim's bottle. 1
unixman_again Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 You go into work on a school closure day, which I have done. I've also managed to get lost on the drive to work, after I was working at the place for three years.
CHR1S Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I have twins that never sleep.................................................. 2
mrbios Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 about a month ago making breakfast i put the milk back in the cupboard after taking it out of the fridge but before actually using it, then poured my cereal into a mug then nearly poured my orange and mango juice over the cereal....i don't even use a mug for that normally. Not sure what i was on that morning.
Iain.Faulkner Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 ....you start putting dirty washing into the dishwasher....
rich_tech Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I had to drive home early from a pub quiz last week, as I was actually falling asleep at 10:15pm in the pub I go too. At the moment I am going to bed around 8:30/9pm each day, as I am too tired to keep my eyes open on most nights, even a new WoW expansion hasn't perked me up at all. Then its a case of being up through the night with the boy (though the wife does the bulk of this in fairness to her) before the alarm wakes me at 5:30am - I feel like death at the moment and on countdown to breaking up for the holidays, just went through my first inspection in role too, after helping previous tech in the previous one, that seemed to make me that bit more exhausted during the build up and week of inspection.
LiamH Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 If my alarm goes off early i go into autopilot mode and get ready for work. I once just got done putting my tie on before I twigged i was meant to be getting ready to go to the airport for a holiday.. *facepalm* 2
Oaktech Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 If my alarm goes off early i go into autopilot mode and get ready for work. I once just got done putting my tie on before I twigged i was meant to be getting ready to go to the airport for a holiday.. *facepalm* I did pretty much that... Got up, got dressed, put my leatherman on my belt, put my baby screwdriver in my shirt pocket, clipped my ID onto my waist, went downstairs and was greeted by my missus: "I don't know where you're going dressed like that, but I'm going shopping this morning because it's a SATURDAY". Doh.
Tesla Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Put Coffee and a tea bag into the same cup the other day...
strawberry Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 .....you come in in the morning and try to open your office door with your remote smart car key.... I do this every day when I get home with the car blipper. There's also a 90degree bend in the road that I will indicate at when i'm knackered.
Garacesh Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Put Coffee and a tea bag into the same cup the other day... To be fair, you wouldn't be tired for much long after!
Tesla Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 To be fair, you wouldn't be tired for much long after! I got a migraine about an hour later that day...figures.
Oaktech Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Put Coffee and a tea bag into the same cup the other day... One of my ex-colleagues used to do this deliberately... Cup of Toffee was his name for it. T with some coffee in! To be fair, he was an, errr, 'unique' personality.
unixman_again Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I made by boss a mug of coffee-T at my last school. I said I'd chuck it out and make him what he wanted (a cuppa tea) but he drank it anyway. After that, he always said that I made a lovely coffee-T when we had visitors.
