I have it on 360 but will be getting it on PC this time, GTAV is the only game I play on the 360 so can't justify the £££ on an XBOX one. FarCry4 will keep me busy until the PC version. I am using a 770GTX with 16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1866Mhz Quad i5 @ 3.6 Ghz, I may need to go SLI on 2x 770GTX for FC4 but will see today.

Well, hopefully the delay will mean we get a slightly more polished PC version, although given the past experiences you never really can tell with Rockstar..

Promising news, though, we'll get a few bonus songs for the radio on PC (162 in total) GTA 5 PC's expanded soundtrack revealed - PC Gamer

And on top of that, we're FINALLY going to be getting online heists, the lack of which made me give up on the PS3 version a long time ago..

The only question is Gamepad or Mouse and Keyboard..

Well I picked it up on PS4 last night and it's amazing. I haven't played it on last gen but figured GTA is a driving game first and controller would be easier (I hate driving with M/K and swapping to controller). Turn head bob off and third person cover on for FPS mode as it makes it much slicker. Also...FOV slider in a console game? :o I'll stream some tonight, link is on my Twitter when it goes live. :)

The First Person mode looks interesting, I saw a youtube video (HatFlims (there are other Youtube channels available)) running round with the First Person View on and it look interesting, I wonder how hard it is to fly or drive a car like that?

You could always fly/drive in first person...

Now there is a first person mode that is the view of the character so you see the inside of the car or the cockpit of the plane.

The driving threw me off for a while, GTA's always had some wonky driving, and combined with FP view it was pretty irritating. Kinda getting used to it now though. Really like FP view for moving around on foot, you can't see as much as in third person obviously, so getting hit by a bus and rolling across the floor was a bit confusing the first time.. second and third? Not so much.

I like the increase in animal numbers and varieties found around, chased some cats last night, and I read that you can actually control a seagull and "attack" people from above. Need to give that a go.

I discovered you can chase down and stamp on the cats... >.>

Also I noticed on a stream that the aircraft dashboard works, so you can see the dashboard thing that shows if the plane is level or tilting instead of guessing in third person.

I just wondered...what if I press the fire trigger at this very moment? Oh, it's just like critters in WoW.... :D

Also go to Franklin's house, watch TV, press Square for a 'puff of smoke.' He can also get drunk. Modify a car and it gets impounded if you are busted. You can spraypaint guns anything from platinum finish to pink. Car dash has speedo and shows song on the radio display. Fake Facebook and a Twitter clone on the phone. A mock driving theory test highlighting the stupidity of Los Santos drivers. And digs at everyone from the video game industry to stuff that will get every spectrum of the political correctness brigade in a fury. There's so many little details in this game it's great.

I'm considering one next time I spend some money on my PC, but I mostly play on the TV since I built a "Steambox" (Windows based)

Such as? (not being arsey, I genuinely don't understand why)

One of the reasons was the quake engine did strange things at certain framerates, 76/125/250/333 if i remember right, it used to let you jump higher, with a lot of games on the quake engine it gave you an edge playing online.

Plus higher fps helps with motion blur.

Had an absolute riot! Me and Danny running round with animal masks robbing stores and trying to evade the Police. Keep that man away from the trigger though.

Yeah will be on tonight. More stores to hit for cheap EXP before doing some proper stuff! ;)

Yeah, we'll try out some proper jobs at some point. The owl will strike again.

at least on gta online on the 360 it was really easy to rob stores in a chopper as long as you shot the clerk otherwise they tend to shoot you as you leave lol
