How come we have the intelligence to get data from a spinning rock 400,000,000km away yet I can't get data from our teachers down the corridor? The live feed was great, I felt tense just watching it.

I knew from previous links of yours that there's no "now" - there's some thought experiment about a spacecraft flying past Earth & Mars really fast and how they would interpret events taking place in a static frame of reference, how the order of events can change - but I still can't quite wrap my head round it all. I think I have the Brief History of Time on audiobook, @LiamH, waiting in the queue for my morning drive. One of many on the list!
