Hope everyone has a great xmas and that you weren't too worked down on those last few days of term ("I dont have any dvd software on my laptop!"). To the point: My last three working days of this year were on a course at Neos IT Training in Worcester. Highly recommended! I went on the Server 2003 Network Services (3 days), the trainer Alan Hutt (MCSE) is very very good at delivering the course and as a former MS trainer knows all the tricks! They plough will all the cakes/ coffe / tea that you can handle and at lunch times pay for a slap up meal in a very busy but quaint pub! I had the fish is it was more like a whale! Anyway the course was really good and he covered lots that wasn't in the course but thought was more useful for us. Two of my colleagues went of two different courses the weeks before mine and said the exact same. Check them out! 10/10

The do know that schools and colleges have limited budget hence the discount. HTH, Ashok.

I ended up when i went near the beginning of December having one on one tution with Alan who is a top bloke and alway willing to answer any question. I agree with the lunch's I had jacket spud and beans and its more like half a feild of spuds and enough beans to fill the titanic. @ SECMAN y not stay in worcester while on the course as you will say a lot of money at £100 a day so get a b+b, i did and i only live in gloucestershire. I would recommend burgage house about 300 metres from the training centre at £35 a night for a single very very nice. Also there are a lots of pubs and shops in the centre for an evening meal, I ate in the evening at the eagle pub, big steak for £12 including a pint bargin. Also the train station is about a 15minute walk from the centre. Which is on the main line to london. If anybody wants to know anymore just ask. Also i will be there again from the 23-25 of january on another course so see you there. Nuttygeek

apeo Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I did enjoy the training at Neos but my only problem is i cant seem to get in contact with the tutor to ask follow up question after the course ended. Put it down to him being a very busy person and found the answer myself after a couple weeks of google. Other than that the training is great and the food.. man what a lunch.
alan-d Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 I've just completed day one of a 3 day Exchange administrators course and can highly recommend them. Although the lunch is now a buffet brought to the centre. Still more than enough to go around though If you contact Neos they will send you the price list for schools but usually works out at half the normal cost. It's not often you look forward to doing course but these guys are very knowledgeble and the time flies by.

A course which cost £600 last year now cost £780. Its a pity really because from the feedback we have had they seem to be very good but i think from the price hike they are going to put off a Lot of Educational establishments from being able to pay these prices. 30% rise in courses? Some one is taking the Pi**

There are bound to be some increases over time but they are still good value for money Mmmm maybe I should ask for a commission I'm about to do a 4 day security course with them for £400 all in.
