Today we've let YouTube's auto captioning write our script for us (sort of). We recorded it, upped it to YouTube and then used the auto generated closed captions as our script for the 2nd shoot, with HILARIOUS RESULTS!!!! Actually, for once YouTube did a pretty good job with it's speech recognition (most of the time).

 

I was going to to suggest doing this.

Just watched the video with the comedy gold script courtesy of YouTube. It reminded me of morning briefing in the staffroom.... I'd always been suspicious of the gibberish we get told, I guess now I know where it comes from!

I watched those and thought they were really good, but I didn't want to steal their specific idea, so we stuck to the concept that we first thought of (been wanting to do this since Prize-a-day-May I think).

I'm already into injury time! Just waiting for something to finish installing then I'm offski. One of my local bars is having a 10th anniversary bash tonight, with drinks reverting to 2004 prices. Should be a good 'un.
