awesome. I'm wondering how I can do the hammock without anyone noticing... I don't think it would go down too well!!

They're really easy. Look up 'how to make a paracord Hammock' - most of it is done hung on the wall which you could easily get away with by explaining that you're straightening the cables to make the intertubes go faster.

That would totally work.

Less creative but more practical: donate some to an electronics teacher? The cables inside CAT5 leads are great signal wires... not as fun as some of the ideas above mind!

There are no electronics teachers I know to donate to... (I'm in a primary). I am in the process of the hammock.... very slow mind, I don't want to get busted! I'll post a picture later on when it is quieter around my office!

I wish you were nearer - I could do with some medium length cables. All mine are very short or ridiculously long, usually with the clips broken off the end.

I keep meaning to re-do the connectors but never actually get round to it .

Can't wait to see the hammock :)

I just prefer luminous! Hahahah!

Just gonna be clear though... these are not clean enough to be weaving through hair. Ew.

Clean them. Make nerdy wigs. Sell them on etsy for a tonne.
