The possibilities are endless: indulge in some of those "50 Shades" fantasies, rappel down the school or it might even be time for a lynching! 2

We had many 5m cables being used as patch leads in the cabinets, which made shutting the doors difficult. You could do the same. Our last junior techie had the same motto. During the summer break, I found a 25m cable connecting a PC to the network port under the desk. Stuff them all in a bin bag and keep them for when you have a work experience person in. Have them sort them out by length. Keeps them quiet for hours. 1
Joanne Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 I've got them because I sorted the cab out. It's lovely and streamlined now. So a massive mixture of 3m - 0.5m all different colours. I'm never going to have a work experience person, I barely have enough to fill my day!!

All of my wats. Weighing it in might be a little immoral given it's school supplies. Something crafty would be cool but if they're thick cables that might be difficult. I'd probably only get about a tenner!! If I'm going to create something, I need to think of something to create! I'm not very artsy. I like art, I'm just not very good at doing. elsiegee40 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 A couple of years ago, I filled 5 rubble sacks with cables: Cat5e, parallel printer cables, kettle leads, miscellaneous ones that I never knew what they fitted and offered them on freecycle. I had loads of takers and got rid of them same day!

I recommend looking for 'Paracord projects' on Pinterest. Instead of knotting, just use teeny cable ties. The Hammock is a good plan. 2
