SchoolsBroadband Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Hi Dave @SchoolsBroadband Can I be cheeky and ask if you have any 2830s? Sure I've got lots of them. Send me a PM and I'll see what I can do. Dave 2
Ambient Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Netgear DG834G I've been using this router on my KC connection for getting on for 10 years now. Never missed a beat. It's survived 4 house moves around the city of Hull, which has seen connection speeds up to the speed of 20meg downstream. 1

Your lucky getting those speeds, I barely get 8-9 and I'm close to the Exchange in Hessle. Where abouts in Hull are you ?
TomCollins Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Have you looked at Pure Broadband? (Pure Broadband - Your local ISP for high speed broadband at low prices). An alternative to KCOM using Fibre-Over-Wireless, doesn't seen too badly priced neither.

zag Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Its worth mentioning that if you do get VDSL/Infinity in the future, the BT home Hub 5 has been excellent so far for me. I got it for about 40 quid I think just by ringing them as an upgrade from the old 4 version which was horrendous. Anyway its working great and the best ISP router I have ever used. Its even got 802.11ac wireless!!
