TheGoodGuy Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 The computers in our ict suite randomly seem to freeze when coming back from standby, sometimes it happens, sometimes not. Anyone else come across this issue?
mrbios Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Graphics drivers, windows updates, bios update. In that order, all of the above have been solutions to that issue in the past on differing versions of windows. Ideally pick 3 PCs that have the issue, do one of each on each of them and see which fixes the issue (obviously difficult to pin it down to any certain windows update mind you)

TheGoodGuy Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 The annoying thing is that it seems to be random. I might just prevent the computers from going on standby and run maintenance tasks during lunchtime. I have a theory that it is due to static build-up but I don't see why that would only affect them on standby.
