Hey @VeryPC_Colin_M -that's a bit snarky, isn't it?

I'm sure your products are brilliant but as I am yet to purchase from you (and I have been trying, promise!) I cannot in all fairness recommend you. Other people on this thread have recommended you though.

*or were the sweets some sort of bribe :)

Wow steady on @witch! I whole heartily apologize for any offense I caused you.

Thank you for trying to purchase from VeryPC, and I can assure you that when the day comes for our 2 entities to transact there will be no-one happier than I as I am your nominated account manager! As all my customers know, every order placed with me is feeding my wedding fund and I celebrate every penny as if it were a winning lottery ticket. I work hard to achieve the results I do and please my customers and regret any unpleasantness you felt as a result of my post.

Have to agree, Colin's post probably doesn't read the way he (hopefully) intended. I'll say this though - I've had very good dealings with VeryPC and have been very happy with their products. Couple of our feeder schools have just got some of their laptops and I must say they look very sexy.

That said - I don't make it easy for Colin and the team. Always pushing as hard as I can on price and they are usually up against tough competition from Novatech and Stone - who I can also heartidly recommend. Last couple of deals VeryPC have edged out the compitetion though.

Cheers @tmcd35 you just successfully picked me back up!

Looking for new Laptop. Dell, HP or Acer ? Please Suggest.

@carolgwahl

It is better to start your own thread than rake up another with a barely related question.

When and if you do so, please tell us what you intend to use the laptop for and your budget. The brand doesn't necessarily make any difference. The specification does.

Sorry. Been at Education Innovation in Manchester. Worst wifi ever! I'm back in on Monday though so I'll be in touch hen :)

Ahhh - so don't worry that he doesn't love you, @Tesla, @ICTDirect_Dave called you "hen"

Isn't that a northern term of endearment? :)
