First 3 people to call up after 10am on Friday 6th February, select option 4 and say "Bring me the socks!" to either me or Will when we answer the phone will get a pair. 0845 0345 017 or 0114 321 8609 (made it 10am just to make sure the new system will be switched on - you have to use the menu - transferred calls or anything before 10am will not count!) How's that? Al Hahahaha! Brilliant. The small socks are perfect for me. They fit like a glo... oh... wait. BRB acquiring auto-dialler. Forget the auto-dialler. I've just hired me a crack team of telesales personnel on zero-hour contracts for the sole purpose of bombarding the VeryPC switchboard at 10am on Friday.

Also, we don't want to tie up our inbound phone lines for ages, so we'll be very brief with how we answer your calls to free the lines as quickly as possible. As soon as we've had the 3 calls and given away the socks I'll post here: "STOP CALLING!!!". That's your cue to admit defeat and give up so we can all get back to work. How dare you sir! (while you had Will tied up transferring you, I answered and processed 3 more calls!) Thankfully not too many of you attacked our switchboard at once so we're still up and running.
