PEO Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Top Gear starts tonight at 21:00 A perfect way to end the weekend
localzuk Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Just thought I'd point out that the BBC homepage has it down as being on at 8pm on bbc2... Just so no-one is disappointed and turns on at 9.
PEO Posted October 7, 2007 Author Posted October 7, 2007 oops sorry peeps. I as wrong about the time (Makes a not that an appointment at the doctors to have ears syringed is needed)
PEO Posted October 7, 2007 Author Posted October 7, 2007 Ha, that was another super episode by the boys. Looking forward to the boat race, that should be a scream!
john Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I cant wait to see the V12 golf they have It sure was a beast of a car! Only -ives I saw were the furniture, Hamsters appauling "trendy" hair and the image of James May nude in that Aston 8O

localzuk Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 What was with his hair? It looked like he'd just not bothered to comb it Don't get me wrong, long hair is good, but it just needs to be tidy...
tech_guy Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I'm sorry but they're all a bunch of wankers. Give me 5th Gear & Tiff Needell anyday.
localzuk Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I'm sorry but they're all a bunch of wankers. Give me 5th Gear & Tiff Needell anyday. But that's the point! It makes the show funny!
john Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I'm sorry but they're all a bunch of wankers. Give me 5th Gear & Tiff Needell anyday. Nooo they are they burnt all the props and the nice chairs and the Cool Wall!! As for hamsters hair, lets make a petition to get him to get it blooming well cut and as the gags about sticking his head in a bucket of Hair Product cannot be used anymore as its clear he ain't using hair product on it let alone hair straightners.
rhyds Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I caught the repeat last night, I hadn't seen much of the last series as I really didn't like the way the programme is aimed at those people who "know about cars" (i.e. they can tell you exactly how cool xyz supercar is, but ask them how to check the oil or change a wheel and they're stumped) but this episode wasn't too bad. Can't wait for the one where the team drive the Princess, Dolomite and SD1
Butuz Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Oh man whever they do those road trips it makes me want to jump in the car and hurtle across europe - I NEED THOSE TUNNELS!!! Maybe next summer I'll get round to actually doing it! Butuz
localzuk Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Oh man whever they do those road trips it makes me want to jump in the car and hurtle across europe - I NEED THOSE TUNNELS!!! Makes me think of Family Guy actually... Where Peter gets a new sports car.
mrforgetful Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Top Gear's funnier than Family Guy though
Vegas Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I've been to see it filmed twice now, it was awesome fun.
mrforgetful Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Really? What's that like? Often wondered as more and more seems to be shot outside the studio, were you there like 10 minutes for the news and cool wall?
Vegas Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Clarkson is too funny for words and is constantly taking the pi55 out of Hamster, May is quiet but chats away to the audience. The news actually takes 45 mins to shoot and is edited down as is the guest interview, that actually lasts for nearly an hour. We didn't see the star on the track as that is filmed before the audience arrives. You get to spend a half hour with all 3 out by an old double decker while having a tea break. Hammond is tiny!
Butuz Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I heared there was a 2 - 4 year wait to get on???!! IS that true? Butuz
Vegas Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 75 - 100 tickets every week and 250,000+ apply for them!! A friend of mine is good friends with the producer, thats why i've been twice.
