kearton Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 Not long until BETT Bett Show 2014 - The learning technology event Will there be some there to replace your broken ones? I hope so! This one was 3-4 years old... /me prods @Dos_Box
fiza Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Maybe orders should be taken now? Then you can pick up when you visit the Edugeek stand at BETT? @Dos_Box
buzzard Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Got mine at the first Edugeek conference at Woodlands in Chorley many moons ago, plus caps and other conference stuff, oh and I won the ipod touch in the raffle!
JJonas Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 That hasnt died, its just been upgraded into a beaker. 1
bossman Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Still using mine after all these years, still in good nick as it gets washed by hand not in the dishwasher
Popular Post Dos_Box Posted October 18, 2013 Popular Post Posted October 18, 2013 We stopped taking mugs to BETT after the lot we had shipped 3 years ago had about 70% broken in transit by couriers. Perhaps some unbreakable thermal mugs could be in order? 5
X-13 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 unbreakable thermal mugs Challenge accepted. Also, yes. 1
witch Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 We have to have lidded mugs now anyway - I took my edugeek mugs home at that point - so a thermal mug with a lid would be great! 1
mac_shinobi Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 We have to have lidded mugs now anyway - I took my edugeek mugs home at that point - so a thermal mug with a lid would be great! We able to order these kind of mugs off of or from an edugeek online store ? 1

Dos_Box Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I love my glass one.... We lost most of those to the couriers as well
elsiegee40 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 My mug is currently residing on teenage son's desk as a pen pot... I keep telling him he needs to get his own. Honestly, two trips to BETT as my 'apprentice' and he's stealing my freebies! 2
Rawns Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 On the topic of EduGeek mugs, has the idea of an Edugeek merch store been looked at? It would be cool for for us geekers to grab a mug, lanyard, pen, t-shirt etc from an official site. 3
Little-Miss Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 We lost most of those to the couriers as well I saw... Make my glass one extra rare! lol

If it has proper techy stuff like cables then I think I could possibly get edugeek set up as a trusted supplier here.
bushby Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 ooooo the edushop now thats a idear many of moneys will be spent there. Mugs and tops and trunkets. maybe a cigar cutter? and STICKERS you can never have to many of them(on the car, on the pc, paintballing gear, on the gobby kids face to shut them up:P) i use my edu-bottle opener each week. along with my lanyard thats all i have -_-

Perhaps some unbreakable thermal mugs could be in order? Or maybe we could work something out a bit safer @Dos_Box given both myself and @Ric_ will be up near you at Christmas, I am in the car so could collect some from you then and bring back down in my car and then fetch along to BETT so that should reduce that issue significantly?
plexer Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 As long as they're not crappy plastic thermal mugs they are horrible to drink out of. My edugeek mug is a bits and pieces cup on my bedside table. Ben
