They any good? All I know about them is that they appear in hordes with sudowodo.

 

Ghost/Grass.. seemed pretty tough, well tougher than the Pumpkin Ghost/Grass 'mon. A lvl 50 one survived a Bug Buzz from my lvl 70 Butterfree, as if that was anything to go on. I'll take a closer look at it later and letcha know.

Oops... sorry it's called 'Trevenant' Oorotto was it's Japanese name.

 

At a glance its got a great Attack (110), OK Def (76) and SpD (82) and a lousey speed (56) plus x2 weakness to Fire/Ice/Flying/Ghost/Dark... so not that great, no great moves to write home about, but potential to be quite bulky. :(

People want japanese ones, japanese players can get infinite amounts of them. Why are they this hard to get?

 

Well just leave a starter in the GTS and ask for a Ditto, in the comments say you want 'Jap/Eur/USA Needed'. You should get one that way.

Merlin and Kaleidos are nearly level 40.

 

I've split my team in half now. Half fighting, half I'm levelling to evolve.

 

Le EDIT: WTF!? How can the 4th gym's gogoat sweep MY ENTIRE TEAM?!

 

God dammit. Plus, how many [censored] hyper potions does this guy have?! Every time I get close to beating his Gogoat he restores it back to full health then one-shots me.

Nope. This gogoat must have an insane attack stat.

 

Plus a few high damage moves.

 

On a lighter note, I got a japanese ditto :D

 

For a bad riolu.

Maybe tomorrow. Route 13 has annoyed me too much. [Yes, I beat the gym... not even a lv.40 fire type could OHKO that Gogoat... I call hax.]

This was what I figured I'd have to do, too.

How do I know that it's definitely a jap/usa one, though? Is there any way to check?

You know if it's foreign because in the PC it has a little tag on it's stats saying JAP [if it's from Japan]. [You also unlock the 'Dex from that region. All the info is in that language. I may try to complete the JP'Dex once I've bred EVERYTHING]

 

I would take a picture of my Ditto, but I'm currently saved in the power plant with no access to a computer...

 

 

TBF, my team was Alakazam ~lv.40, Pangoro ~Lv.35 and 4 NFE 'mons I was trying to evolve... I switched out a few NFEs for a Lv.40 Delphox [Merlin] and Lv.27 Litleo after the 6th consecutive loss and Delphox swept for great justice. [>100 Sp.Atk + 90bp + STAB + super effective... 2HKO on something 6 levels lower?]

 

 

If you're interested I may be able to hook you up with shiny starters. Once I've done the power plant, I'm rebreeding mine to be better. So I may end up with spares, it depends on if the chance has changed.

 

 

Le EDIT: Why are Japanese names better?

 

English: Greninja... Eh, it's OK. [grenouille (French for frog) and ninja]

 

Japanese: Gekkōga... So much cooler.

Alright, thanks :D I'm current saved just after..... that town where you battle Professor Sycamore, so I should be able to hit (I just battled my 3 friends on that bridge, then went to bed) so I should be able to get myself a ditto and breed a Froakie to trade soon.

The story in pokemon is really weak, but I'd rather be surprised than know what's going to happen.

I did something silly and I picked up the other version of the game.

One for restarting whenever you want to play it again from the begininng.

One for competitive rearing/playing/trading/etc that you don't have to lose your one-time-only Torchic :p

You forgot "meets creepy guy in holtel room, screen goes black, "bonds", gains super powers." :p

 

 

Also, I'd question the "organic weapon of mass destruction"... the 'dex is filled out by 11 year olds. It's hyperbole.

I never thought of that. Fennekin and Braixen do have entries that sound like they were written by children. :D (Fennekin would burn everything with 1000+ degree heat coming out of it's ears and Braixen's tail must be made like the side of a matchbox).
