Not everyone keeps an eye on Serebii [et al] so guaranteed there's someone who finds out about it just as it's ending. Plus, there's a lot of stuff you CAN'T get any more. Just moving those, from every game is going to take time. [Not a month, but if you find out about it late...] There was no need for cloud storage. There is no need for fees. [~£5 per year * number of people that bought the game = WAAAAAAAY more than what it costs to run this.] They can remove features for no reason and create this [Pokemon bank] but can't give access to version exclusives and unobtainable 'mons with free DLC. [Free because trading ruins the point of paying for it.]

The transfer tool should at least be free or part of the game as it has always been for each consecutive new generation. Beyond transferring I have no further need or desire for the bank. I still have a large amount of 'mon including shinys locked away on Pokémon Ranch on a m8s Wii (since the days of Pearl/Diamond/Platinum) lol. Edited February 4, 2014 by AlfaTech

They're taking a Chansey on it making them money, at the cost of fans. It's just a pay-day for them. TBH, it's Ghastly that they'd even consider it. But I still don't agree with paying for a functionality we've had for generations without issue. It's not like I'll be trading anything over from Black anyway. I haven't even completed it. It's so unforgiving it's unbearable, but after beating the ease of Y, I think I might just have to pick it up again. Y was a cake-walk, it was a little annoying how easy it was, actually. Back to the puns, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I absol-utely don't care if you approve of them or not. I don't fearow your tentacruel replies

If they're obtainable legitimately, I don't care if they're hacked. [A lot of people don't care either.] TBH, they could almost entirely remove hacked 'mons if they made it so IVs/Natures/Abilities/egg-moves were easily editable* and everything was obtainable. The only hacks then would be shiny. *As in: Talk to NPC [Pay a fee.] > Change nature/ability. Training > Raise IVs/change ability. Move tutor > Learn egg moves [if they can learn it, they can learn it. Stop making it so bloody complicated.]

Yep, I pretty much beat the game by using Butterfree lol (Sleep powder, Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz/Psychic). Unfortunately I've now lost interest in online competitive battling since it is now so easy to cheat (New Pokémon Cheat Can Ruin Online Battles)

I figured someone would eventually make some kind of intercept, but just not that sophisticated! (I've seen connections routed through PC's so people can be effectively kicked from P2P online lobbies during online play on consoles, figured this was the next step)
