SuBash Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Okay Froakie. I now have half a box full of Hasty (fast natured) Protean (ability) Froakies with perfect IVs in Speed (and various other stats) if anyone wants one lemmie know, gimmie ur FC if you haven't done so already and I'll happily trade. Is your offer to trade a Hasty Protean Froaky to someone who wants one still valid? If yes, I would like to ask for one of said Froakies. My Friend Code is 3454 - 1093 - 4957. If you are willing to trade, could you please provide me with you FC as well. Also, if you could tell me a time and date that would work for you, that would be very helpful. Thank you. Grey-gear Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 Is anyone going to bother with the pokemon bank when it launches?
AlfaTech Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Is anyone going to bother with the pokemon bank when it launches? On December 27th. Erm... I dunno yet, I have a few championship 'mon that I'd would like to transfer (and wanna complete my Dex) but for the most part my 'mon live on their carts. I'm personally not impressed that you have to pay a sub (£5 a year?). I'm just hoping that the PKMN Transfer tool won't require subs to the bank system - although I think you do get a free trial period so could do all the transferring during that.
Grey-gear Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 For the pokemon bank I'm going to see how useful the trial is before I decide if I'm going to pay for it, also there is the 1.2 update for the game that fixes some bugs in the game so it may be worth downloading that from the Nintendo eShop.
CAM Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I may be getting dragged into this again... I beat Gym 2! And thanks to @littleMiss and @X-13 for naming my Eevee pair. Now where to find a water stone.
AlfaTech Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 You can find a Water Stone on route 8 (much further on) and they can also be brought from the Stone Shop in Luminoise City (much much later on). Failing that I'm happy to trade you one if you want.
CAM Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I think I went past route 8. Or near there...I'll take another look around. Already found the fire stone and turned one into a Flareon (Eevel Kneevl) Need to catch another one though, I'll probably stick an Everstone on my first one (Reynard) and leave him unevolved.
X-13 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm still annoyed that "Atlantis Morrissette" is too long...
AlfaTech Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Have Eevees, can trade. The Water Stone is up on the cliff but you have to push a block (using Strength) to get to it.
Grey-gear Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Not sure if I'm remembering this wrong but I think you can get the evolution stones from playing the trian games if you finish within a certian time.
AlfaTech Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Not sure if I'm remembering this wrong but I think you can get the evolution stones from playing the trian games if you finish within a certian time. Yep, in the secret Super Training (after you finish the basic training)
CAM Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 LOL been mostly ignoring that and the Amie because I don't really get what they are for aside from getting your own Pokémon to attack you.
X-13 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 LOL been mostly ignoring that and the Amie because I don't really get what they are for aside from getting your own Pokémon to attack you. Super training is EVs Amie is +crit chance, +shed skin, +accuracy [i think] and some other stuff. Both are pretty useful.
AlfaTech Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Indeed, however Amie doesn't make any difference in competitive battles (i.e. PvP).
X-13 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Indeed, however Amie doesn't make any difference in competitive battles (i.e. PvP). True. I keep forgetting that... I got fed up of the competitive side ages ago.
CAM Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I suck at PvP anyway. You saw that when you trounced my team @AlfaTech.
AlfaTech Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I suck at PvP anyway. You saw that when you trounced my team @AlfaTech. It's one of those things that gets better with practice (and luck) I've played in tournaments and competitions but even I get trounced more often than not, I'm sure you could beat me if we battled again. I haven't played PKMN in a couple of months.
Grey-gear Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 over the last week I was able to get the over games starts and start ramdomly breedig them so I have lots as I was keeping it going until I got Female of each.
Grey-gear Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Spent the how weekend trying the masuda method to get a Shiny Piplup, so far filled 4 boxes and no Shiny ~To0-Many-Piplup
X-13 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Spent the how weekend trying the masuda method to get a Shiny Piplup, so far filled 4 boxes and no Shiny ~To0-Many-Piplup >14 boxes for a shiny Fennekin. Still don't have one. I haven't played this for ages... I got up to Xerneas [Just about to catch him/her] and then got overwhelmed with EV/IV/Nature paranoia. I regret learning about this immensely.
Garacesh Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 >14 boxes for a shiny Fennekin. Still don't have one. I haven't played this for ages... I got up to Xerneas [Just about to catch him/her] and then got overwhelmed with EV/IV/Nature paranoia. I regret learning about this immensely. I started breeding a perfect charmander, got one with 4 perfect IV's and then just.. stopped. Realised I'd already completed the game and couldn't be bothered going competitive, so there was no real use to what I was doing..
CAM Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I'm way too lazy to bother with that! Catch them, box them, give duplicates a troll name for wonder trade. Never beaten the game though... BTW Reynard evolved...into Sylveon. Now he is next to useless!
AlfaTech Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I managed to breed a shiny Charmander using the Masuda method on Pokemon X (i.e. with a Japanese ditto). It didn't take that many tries, but I guess I was just lucky this time. TBH I think shinys are over-rated, I'd much rather have something with good IVs and beneficial nature. That said shinys appear to be much much more common with this generation.
