I managed to jump off shanghai hotel, parachute down with the obliteration bomb, only to clip the edge of another building, which meant jumping again, and re-deploying the parachute, and then as I landed I was run over by the enemy tank.

 

Hahaha! Not really a 'positive' Battlefield moment! ;)

Nope...best positive moment I had was 8 knife kills in a row, each one giving me a new tag...lol

 

I've had that a couple of times. Think 5 was the most I've ever got in a row. I was lucky though as there was a sniper and medic. I knifed the medic then another squad member spawned on the sniper! They stopped spawning on him in the end and I managed to finish him off too.

Indeed I am Sunny D. Gym after work, followed by dinner. Then BF carnage with some l33t sniping skillz.

 

Anyone had any "Only in Battlefield" moments yet? Managed to snip a chopper pilot mid flight while he and his mate were battering the sky-rise on Shanghai. The chopper gunner did not notice until it fell into the side of the building killing him! :p

Yeah I had a moment. 1000m+ sniper shot kill on paracel storm. Nuff said. Lol

Also, on a side note, if anyone has a tablet, get hold of the BF4 App. At the moment, it is another thing that does not quite work fully yet, but when it does, you can have a live mini-map of the server your playing on running on your tablet. Could prove to be very useful methinks! :)

 

You can also customise your load out at any time, 'squeee' over your stats, look at leaderboards etc etc. Slightly less useful, you can fire your game up remotely and connect to servers. :p

Went to grab screenie of round where I had +kills and +points. Lucky for you, it's not in my battlelog (think the server crashed).

 

Also can;t see a way to look at peoples dog tags that you've taken. :(

 

Might be purchasing this tonight.. just might :p

Nah, I'll be going to GAME, only problem is, with most of this month's money going towards my XBone, do I splash for the Deluxe with the gold packs at £50, or just pick up the usual Game+Expansion for £35 :p

 

Battlefield 4 Deluxe Edition Includes:

• 3 Gold Battlepacks

• Collectable SteelBook Cover

 

Also, fairly sure I saw someone (on here actually) mention that when you buy an Origin retail disk, it still downloads.. I saw this with BF3 when I bought that too, so probably still gonna have to live through the wait!

In the spirit of being fair, I don't actually play GTA 5 with ANYONE anymore, back to my PC gaming, I play stuff with the Geeks on there :p

I dare say you will pick up premium at some point when the price goes down and that includes China Rising. Battlepacks aren't really worth it for an extra 15 quid IMO as it's predominately camo and alternative style weapon attachments mixed with XP boosts and you get battlepacks through normal unlock progression anyway.

 

Also the disk will mean you download a 700MB patch instead of 24GB of data. :)

Yeah, I always get premium / season passes eventually, but I'm just going for the Standard edition, it comes with China Rising for free, so not gonna turn that down :p

 

Sent a family member to buy it for me and drop it off seeing as GAME closes before I finish, so I'll get that dropped off this evening :)

There's a new tablet app coming out mid November that's for commander. Looks like you can do the same stuff as Pc commander and I guess it means you can play as well.

 

Got myself a razer deathadder mouse. G700 was just too heavy for this game. Hoping it going to allow me to shoot somewhere near the enemy lol.

So bad at it at the mo. first proper fps on pc

Well, I just want to forget last nights abysmal performance. It was rape central and I was the main target. :(

 

Tonight will be different. I'll be dishing out the rape. ;)

 

@ZeroHour, is the EduGeek TS server no more? The in game chat quality is a bit 'meh'. I have a personal TS server on my media centre for me and a few mates use (BeetleWatcher was on it last night). I'm happy to hook people up with the details for some TS squad action. :)

I couldn't even get voice comms working. And Paracel Storm last night was utterly dire, that was some of the worst ever FPS action I have seen. Either spawn as infantry and get destroyed by a boat or spawn in a boat and die immediately to another boat or aircraft. :(

The prison level was awful too. Most of our team were just fannying around and not pushing forward to the centre at the start. Most people were blocking doorways too or generally too slow so when we got there, we were over run and battered back. As soon as you loose the centre, you get pushed back to spawn. We did a good job at holding them back on the outside for a bit, but as soon as they got a mortar deployed, it was murder.

 

The amount of times @Sunnyknight was saying "OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE!" in chat was great! :p

I did better when I was on the other team, went outside and gunned down about 8 people before I was found nested in the rocks, even with just a pistol! :p

 

Enjoying it more than 3 already, loved the sniping on Paracel Storm last night, especially once we found an engineer who started taking out anything and everything we marked.

It's so buggy, played a few games at the weekend and only managed one map where me and my mate got to the end of the match without it bombing out. Most common one seems to be the audio starts repeating then the game freezes, also had random disconnects mid-game, causing you to lose all points from that round :(

 

The one game we did complete was quality, pushed towards a lost Conquest point with tickets at about 70-120 then turned it round and won at the last :D
