Cost £2 something for me. Love topcashback, got me a amazon voucher buying a couple of things.

 

Can't wait. Did the beta on the ps3 and it seemed so much better than bf3.

 

Going for the pc version this time, have got absolutely everything ready to go from computer set up to having booked Monday-Wednesday off work.

I'm trying to decide whether to get this for my PC (i7-920/GTX470) or wait for the PS4 version? I'm leaning towards the PS4 version mainly because I don't think my PC will by able to run it smoothly at high detail so I'm thinking the console version is probably a safer bet.

 

I'd be interested to know what kind of fps everyone is getting when the full game is out?

I played the beta running a GTX280 (full specs in my sig) and had most settings on high without any issues at all. BF4 seems to have been optimised a lot more compared to BF3! Plus, no 64 man action on console. Trust me, the PC version is the route to go down!

...... went downstairs at 10 ish to prepare for it at 00:00..... fell asleep on the couch.... FML! lol

 

Woke up at 2:30 with epically bad insomnia. Worked out well as I fired off my download and now go only 2GB to go. :) Did not realise it was a 24GB download though! Was expecting 10/15GB! :eek:

 

Been playing BF3 since then. Time to put the coffee pot on...again.....

 

Thank god I'm not working today!

Ah, Mr. Rawns... Seems like there's something wrong with the server. It's not supposed to be smoking is it?... I didn't think so. And it's saying something about an online sky net? I'm not sure what that means... can you come and have a look?

Jump to conclusions as usual.

 

You're complaining that non-sniping has been nerfed to the point that it's useless.

 

Snipers should be sniping. Not running around. Clue is in the name.

Have to agree here. You're moaning they nerfed close range with snipers, which granted shouldn't be done, but in reality you will only get snipers doing that in 1 in 200'000 situations.

Game is too........ vehicle orientated... MAY end up giving this version of BF a miss.

 

About 50 games, and in 90% of them, it's all about the vehicles... and how the f does a tank round (main cannon) not take down a flimsy chopper, is beyond me. *whistles away*

I5-2400 CPU

8gb 1333 ram

Radeon HD 5830

 

Get on average 55-60fps on 1080p low graphics.

 

Not sure if it's just because I'm new to pc gaming for shooters but I think I preferred the beta on the ps3. Time will tell

Well, the gets handle a LOT better then they did in BF3 imo, I find they handle a lot better! Also I find sniping easier, no issues with 1 hit kills from range either!

 

Some games seem to crash out for no reason.

 

I also had a issue with some sounds not working like in taks. Changed the sound type to 'war tapes' and that seemed to fix it.

 

One thing I don't like is that you can longer join a queue for a full server like you could in BF3. If you try joining, it just says "error, server is full" which is annoying, especially when trying to get in with some mates.

This one seems to crash a lot. Thought it might be my pc overheating but I've got the side off and can feel the gpu and it's only Just warm. Not made it through a game yet but I've only tried 3.
