Between that and the driver updates @ZeroHour helped me with, I am hoping it is more playable. Time will tell I guess. Patching is through Origin when you launch the game.

CAM Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 Game crashes aside (that's me ranting at EA! ) I rarely rage quit, but last night was a string of terrible game after terrible game. Amongst the issues I had: - Netcode was causing multiple cases of pouring automatic fire into someone's head, blood splats, hitmarkers, 100% health? - A string of deaths to people on 1-2HP (this can't be coincidence when it happens multiple times in a row). - Tanks getting tickled by launchers when an engineer. The RPG is meant to be the strongest but does NOTHING to them even with a square hit on the rear armour. - Scout helis that are invincible. String of Stinger hits, an entire inventory worth, one after the other did NOTHING. - Instant death on spawn, yes the helmet cam was clear. One time loaded in to a knife animation which is nothing short of WTF. - Sniper rifles that did nothing at all. Multiple times I clearly hit but the shot does nothing. Last night was utter crap as I was rarely able to reply to whatever the enemy team was throwing at me. At least the sound loop didn't happen I guess. Gave up and had more entertainment putting the headset down and washing bird off my car. :/

No mid game crashes or server load crashes yet, but the sound has gone for more maps and it's actually quite off-putting! Hit boxes are a shambles at the moment and lag between shooting at someone who is moving is really odd! Bullets show as 'hit' with the flashing cursor, but then I get killed with what looks like one shot to the head with a pistol. It then shows the guy who killed my still on 100% health! I was in the same boat as CAM for most of that game. Spawn: Die. No one person in particular (a few questionable players), just sheer rape from the other team due to rubbish bugs (RPG's, OP littlebirds etc). I was toying with a RQ too just because it was too one sided. I also question if some of the maps are a bit too small for 60/64 man games? The TOGA saver seems quite comfortable at 42 people on most maps while still getting plenty of action. OK, a temp hiatus on the knife/sniper war - when it's back on, officially declare it in this thread. I also give you permission to join our team for games now onwards. Had to unload an entire inventory of rockets into a APC just to get smoking.
featured_spectre Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Just a thought...play hardcore...1 rpg to destroy a tank (2 if it has reactive armour). Same for C4. 1 hit sniper kills, even with silencers. 2-4 hit kills with any other weapon depending on range. I now prefer to play hardcore.
