VGA splitters

Need a vga splitter capable of displaying resolutions up to 1920x1080 for PC to monitor and projector.

 

Feels a bit daft to have to ask but we've used about 4 different variantions in the past and we can't find any of those same models anymore, and those that i can find only state up to 1600x1200. Had 3-4 die on us in these past 2 weeks (albeit they were quite old)

 

Tried using the non-powered ones which are suitable where low resolutions are in use (or seemingly when a decent graphics card is in use?) but for most situations they're just not up to the task.

 

Any linkies to ones you lot buy please?

We tend to use startech USB powered ones, cheap easy & work (including at high resolutions). Solves a common issue of "My Pc isn't working" when the splitter has just been turned off at the wall

We've always used LINDY UK in the past, may not be the cheapest but they work.

Plus 1 for Startech 2 port VGA Video Splitter - usb powered, we use around 15 of them here with no reliability issues. good compact solution

Rextron are amazing value, we used to run whole conferences with dozens of projectors and screens off them.

@Oaktech - which ones did you buy in the end? Are they any good?

I bought the rextron ones from kenable. I'm plenty happy with them. They support the 1440x900 we use.
