Does anyone still use WinRAR or have you all switched to 7-Zip?

I use 7-Zip. I've never liked WinZip. Plus 7-Zip is free…

7Zip, much better than WinRar and WinZip.

Winrar isn't free. 7zip is. Winrar is better at opening corrupt compressed files.

The new RAR 5.0 compression format is actually really good. The ISO below took 5m 52s to compress in WinRAR 5 and 8m 44s in 7-Zip. Both were set to the max compression level (Best/Ultra) with a 64MB dictionary. There is barely any difference in the size of the archives, but a big difference in the compression times.

@Arthur - How does peazip compare ref the same task ie max ultra compression with a 64mb dictionary

Must admit I have always liked WinRAR over others but 7-zip being free makes it hard to justify the costs in education.
