Ipad needs to cool down

One of our ipad is giving a message "Ipad needs to cool down". It then shuts down. Anybody else faced this problem? What is the solution. Its out of warranty now.

Be careful if you keep turning it back on, it might start to turn green, a sure sign it has 4NGR7 - you won't like it when it's 4NGR7

Apple’s specs reveals ideal:

 

Operating temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)

Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C)

Apple hardware overheating? Surely not a surprise, I hasten to point out the "form over function" thing here. Seen a few Pods, Phones and Pads do it in this weather.

Usually yes, but I was specifically talking about 4NGR7 caused by H.U.L.K. syndrome...

So the iPad isn't designed for use in hot weather then which we will be having. If they are stored in lockers / kids bags / iPad trolleys in hot schools they will easily be exceeding those temperatures

It does make you wonder how the things are so popular when in many of the countries they're sold in the heat we're experiencing at the moment is pretty standard...

I first saw this on my nephew's iPod when he left it on the radiator!

 

At least they shut down instead of keeping going until all the components burn out.
