was 32 degrees at my parents house yesterday lunchtime, lovely weather, but sweltering, good though for making the boy extra sleepy it seems

Saturday - we climbed Scafell Pike

I got some pretty bad sunburn on my hands and my neck - along with some wind burn as well!

 

Sunday was spent in the shade watching Andy Murray demolish Novak Djokovic!

 

Today, in a very stuffy office, with a sore neck due to a collar rubbing up against it

I did a parade in France yesterday, was meant to be an Hour and half, but being a continental parade, that soon turned into 4 hours, in built up french street with no breeze and 35 degrees sun. But I have managed to get a bit of nice natural tan on myself from it :-)

I spent the weekend about the fall off the mortal coil it felt like the heat was horrid in London and oppressive so I was sat in my flat in a shady spot with a fan directed on me napping (trying to get better as I am not well either) but thanks to the heat making me hot and bothered i've ended up with a nice heat rash

Saturday morning: 3 1/2 hours of 'dips and drops' workshop (modern Jive)

Saturday PM: baking 'bikini' biscuits and icing them. last ones completed at 2am ish

Sunday: packing car (3 flights of stairs to reach it) three loads.

Sunday: manning a cake stall, photographing a raft race, demonstrating Modern Jive - 6 tracks on grass and a truck bed about 6 foot wide, trying not to dance off the edge. Back home at 8 to apply online for a job.

 

Such a boring cool weekend - not!!
