Unfortunatly its been on the cards for some time. Somebody might take it on though so things may get sorted over the next couple of days.

Time are looking into taking them over, was all over the web the other week that Time were interested in them or parts of them I believe, but that could have been web rumors

Soooo glad I didn't buy an Evesham TV and got my Samsung one.

Time did indeed go bust, but not before its founders 'retired' and passed the running of a floundering company onto a board of directors, many of whom did not realise something was up until far to late. The founders got away scott free and the directors took the rap (allegedly). They were then free to pick up the pieces after Time went belly up.

Anyway, I'm quite miffed as I've just brought an Evesham Alquemi 32" LCD TV from the in April, complete with a 3 year warranty! Dammed good TV anyway.

Austin's statement is a far cry from the one he issued on Friday, claiming it would be business as normal. "We would like to reassure all of our customers that they will continue to receive support from the same Evesham staff and that their existing warranties will continue to be handled with Evesham's award winning service, as before," Austin claimed in the press release. Austin continues to insist warranties will be honoured.

I'm not hopeful. The guy clearly told a few porkies on Friday. If you look at the Registers comments page on their articles you will see several employees who reveal that they knew nothing was up until the bailiffs turned up and changed the locks on the doors and threw them out!

It has indeed been on the cards for a long time.

I read last week that Brad walked out as MD.

I got taken up to Evesham a few years back by our account manager and met Brad and the rest of the guys they ran a pretty sweet set up to be honest.

It sure is the same people, They were saved at the last hour by an investment (Think it was time/tiny :( ).

Our account manager did inform me of the details forthe future but I can't remember! There's some kind of background company change going on that'll be in effect from January.

As there's much less staff there I have noticed a delay in getting a response from our account manager and support, it is a big shame that happened as they did make damn good PCs and importantly gave good support.

Its a shame to see these relatively good companies go belly up when terrible companies manage to hang in there (you know who you are!!!).

(Nods in agreement).
