sted Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 smartscan and whatever the other is pre checking websites?
dksniper Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 we had this issue slowing down our IE. It could be a recent adobe flash update, if you log in with admin rights, add user write permissions to these folders and see if that cures it. Give full permissions for everyone to the following 2 folders: C:\programdata\adobe C:\ Windows\system32\macromed\
kaphc Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yes I had the exact same issue when running IE9 with with a version of Flash 11.6 - I followed the advice posted by dksniper above and it sorted out the speed of pages loading. When I logged in with an account that had admin rights, the speed was fine, so it was definitely the access rights that fixed it.

andy_nic Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 A few months ago we noticed a problem with slow loading of pages. we disabled Protected Mode in Internet Explorer, that seemed to speed it up.
glen_j Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 yes in group policy go to computer config\policies\windows settings\security settings\file system for windows 7 we have %allusersprofile%\adobe and C:\ Windows\system32\macromed\ we added authenticated users will full control of these folders
dksniper Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Create batch file with following script if exist c:\macromed.fix goto end cacls c:\windows\system32\macromed /e /g everyone:f cacls c:\programdata\adobe /e /g everyone:f echo done > c:\macromed.fix :end Then GPO – “Computer Configuration/Policies/Windows Settings/Scripts/Startup/*Point to .bat file* Cheers Dave
