  3. we have a few users here, that have selected the wrong program to open a video via IE, they selected chrome, so once they click on play video it opens Google chrome.I need to find how to change this to Windows media player, I have done it before but cant figure out! please help

  6. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used there visualiser as a camera to record students in a classroom. just got asked by a teacher if this was possible. obviously it can act as a webcam. is there something built into actiview to do this or do I need some camera software? thanks

  12. thanks for the reply.. the boards are over 5 years old now so doubt there be under warranty. but will give them a call if no one else has had this issue first

Hi, we had an issue with one of our IWBs not going up or down. it looked like it was down to the power brick that is at the back of the board. so I took the power brick from a different IWB and it worked for about 5 seconds then stopped working... so I put the power brick back onto the other board and now I have two that wont work! any ideas? thanks
  14. configuration manager cannot connect to the site having this issue but can seem to get it to work... what ever user i log as??
  15. i removed flicks as mention above - teacher still told me he had issues but seems to be ok now so will monitor! thanks for the replies
  16. could be - i will try changing the circuilt board with a working one and see if issue still occures thanks
  17. updated drivers and firmware... umm i think its PS2 the ones with the black around the outside...

Hi wonder if someone has experienced this.. in the past we have put it down to the pens... but now getting issues with newer pens. when the the teachers write on the IWB they get gaps between there lines? i have noticed flicks was installed and removed this aswell as this has caused issues in the past.. any suggestions welcome thanks

  20. sorry i mis-read i take it all back i was copying from (working Machine) C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\Discover Client to (not working machine) C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\Discover Client thanks Glen, and thanks James wouldnt of noticed if you didnt say... my bad
  21. i did try this... as mention :S after his comment - i thought it was a great shout, but it stopped the working machine working! so i had to reinstall it to get it working on the machine that originally was working. thanks anyways

  23. think you must of mis-read something there james... i copied from the machine with the problem onto a working machine - which then stopped the working machine from working... yesterday i tried copying from the working machine onto the machine with the problem and still wouldnt work hope that makes sense thanks
  24. great shout.. it has now stopped the working machine from working - so will reinstall mmmm.....
  25. yeah tried copying the discover folder from my PC on to the PC thats isnt but also didnt work - it then wouldnt let me even get to the logon screen when i tried this thanks again
