newpersn Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Got a Debrecen to Cardiff last night, was a long run (2 hours or so in 1 stint). Netted me £98k Alright for some...
featured_spectre Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 LMAO...yes...I am not far off being a millionaire in game. I will buy 5 new trucks for another garage, get people in it and get them going. By level 60 I will probably be an ingame billionaire again (Had a 5 bay garage in every city, with each driver having a very high spec volvo)

featured_spectre Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 If I get on, I play between 2-3 hours in 1 hit. In that time I can either do very long runs with huge payouts, or lots of smaller runs with a slightly less of a payout.
CAM Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Most important mods ever! FOV https://mega.co.nz/#F!RZUEjLSJ!DO_RzEldcJdViM7KTrdVRA Drop the SCS files in your mods directory but activate only one FOV mod at a time to change the FOV. Seems to be save safe. Downside is higher FOV sits you further back from the wheel rendering the dash display harder to see.
d0pefish Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 so last night i finished off my 1300 mile trip. paid off my 40k loan. done another two 600 mile trips (one in record time by doing a steady 80mph through germany!). now have two garages with 3 drivers in each (inc me) and hope to have my other loan (150k of 320k left to pay) out the way tonight. just typically when i went to hire the last driver there were no decent ones, only really rubbish skills. but i needed a driver, so got mario! he's raking in a cool £300 per trip at the moment. i'm hoping by the weekend that i'll have enough to get another garage somewhere. i now have one UK and one Germany. I'm guessing somewhere like poland/italy will mean the chance for very long journeys and higher payouts?
featured_spectre Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Get the drivers to focus on distance first, once they've hit level 6 then get them to do even training. They'll rake in the cash quite quickly that way
newpersn Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Didnt get on last night, Ripping up the old flooring and laying down new one today. So hopefully back to norm tonight or tomorrow night..
featured_spectre Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I wasnt on either, will be tonight however
d0pefish Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 ah yeah my drivers all do distance first. two have completed distance and are now levelling elsewhere, its just mario and his complete lack of anything!!
featured_spectre Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 ahhh well it doesnt matter if they are bad. They rank up pretty quickly once they have distance down (hell they rank up quickly getting distance). Worth it to keep them on
hawc Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Started again, leveled up (and made £40,000) and took max loan. I then upped my garage. Got myself a lorry and three more for drivers, appointed three drivers and set them to distance
featured_spectre Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 within 2 trips they'll be pulling in thousands, within 15 trips tens of thousands (how it worked out for me)

featured_spectre Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Longest runs are horrendous...lol...even cruise controlled they are annoying as hell. 2 hours 15 mins (in real time) to do a run from Debrecen to Swansea.
d0pefish Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Longest runs are horrendous...lol...even cruise controlled they are annoying as hell. 2 hours 15 mins (in real time) to do a run from Debrecen to Swansea. did a 1300 mile one over the weekend. think it was bratislava to liverpool. all went fine, even managed to get a return trip job.....not so well.....95mph and trying to barrel round the corners didnt work, ended up with 95% damage, to the point the engine wouldn't start at all! 34k to fix it, but good times. i'm now up to 3 garages, my main one upgraded to 5 slots with 4 taken. oldest drivers now getting roughly 10k a job. took out another 320k loan to do all this, including getting all volvo trucks for everyone. only 1 day in from that loan and have made over 100k, so it'll be paidoff a lot sooner this time.
