Dont need telling that. :) mine like to slide off the road. (normally on slip roads (the ones that go round and down)

All I know is, if @Rawns gets this, do NOT play multiplayer with him. He's dangerous enough in small vehicles, giving him larger ones like this you may as well ask him to deliver an atomic bomb

"Yes I can transport your depleted uranium rods and "dispose" of them safely".

More like "Would you like a lift, I'm heading that way"....

One hour later, passenger dead at side of the road

Can't argue with that... :eyebrows:

That is just cheating IMO. Police on isnt much more difficulty, but it can be a bugger on the German and Dutch highways where they measure in KPH and you read in MPH

Easiest way is blitz it down every road regardless of limit then :p

nope...they have horrendous turns on them at speed, so sticking to 57mph works for me. With no accidents, a trip from Poland to UK will net me £10'000 upwards, however should also add, depends on the cargo. Fuel (or other flammable liquid) gets me the most so far. 1 accident and it will drop to less than 25% of the total offered.

works the same as flight sim.

So you can speed up time? Like x2, x4, x6, x8 etc? Easier to fly a plane at x8 speed then drive a truck I bet!

Question: So how does 'in game' time work? Surely you don;t just sit at your PC driving a lorry for a 12 hour stretch?

At approx 50mph you cover a mile in about a minute and a half I think. For a 450/500mile stretch it would take about 30mins or so from what I remember

Gotta try this tonight. 30 mins a trip? (Approx).... im on that.

Confused as to how multiplayer would work... would it be an open world with unlimited jobs? People being ganked by other truckers? Pvp in an arena? A QUEST TO DRIVE AND KILL A DRAGON?! A CROWN FOR THE BEST DRIVER?! IMORTALITY?!

NOODLES?!

SOUP?!

NOODLES AND THE SOUP?!

I can knock out a trip from London to Edinburgh in about 15 mins. That is roughly 400 miles in 15 mins, so make from that what you will :)

*edit* I do use map mods however, as I dont recall if you can go to scotland by default, but there were some that added north africa, italy and spain.

nope, the game is highly customisable. It is worth adding the map mods, as the base map isn't too large.

Worth while noting that opening up various areas of Europe is worthwhile as it adds the distance you travel with cargo. IE going from Poland - SouthernSpain/North Africa = across Europe route. Nets a massive wad of cash. Can get you up to £400k for the 1 trip. Bang up the long distance as fast as possible, as they offer the biggest payouts, then valuable/fragile cargo, but be warned, a slight accident or a drink in the trailer will ruin the value you have on the cargo, and it does drop quite rapidly.

Also, follow the road rules, because cutting up a driver will lead to an accident (as I found out on a Sweden to Belgium route).

only if you don't pass them in time ;)

thankfully the oncoming AI is fairly pleasant. Have seen a car try to overtake me, get caught in incoming traffic which just stopped, then car indicated and joined behind me. So as long as you see oncoming in time and can brake you should be ok
