Then obviously the server went offline. I've been playing in single player mode on and off since but it really isn't the same. Username is cjshields84.

And by dabbled I mean 'played a lot of' Wuzzall this FTB about? FTB is a legal and legit mod pack (well, set of mod packs), built with the co-operation of mod makers. Tekkit was created by copyright infringement originally. FTB is also kept a lot more up to date. DMcGuigan Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I've played both Tekkit and FTB and I prefer FTB, though I have used it more. I use the Direwolf pack for the server I run for a guild I play in, I've seen some er.. interesting things. Made the mistake of Op'ing someone who then found the nukes.. big mistake ^^ Haven't tried the ultimate pack yet, something to look into. Definitely worth trying FTB though!!

Or watch some streams on Twitch.TV. What's your minecraft username and I'll add you to the whitelist.
localzuk Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 I've seen a couple of people trying to get on but they're using out of date versions of mods or something similar? You need to download the FTB client from Feed the Beast (exe for windows, jar for linux or mac), and then set up an instance using the FTB Ultimate 1.0.1 pack. It should 'just work' then.

Interesting. I'll have to take a look this evening. Not updated the server before. I'll have to keep on top of this actually, as people join, they'll always be getting the very latest versions.
LiamH Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Yeah same here, was just to twilight forest mod pack that was a different version, The FTB UK download servers were down last night for a while, so the server might not have seen the update. I did try manually adding the older twilight forest but no joy
