staningrimsby Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Hi Guys, We currently have at schoolaround 50 or 60 sets of broken headphones mainly from the KS1 side of the school, does anyone have any suggestions for any that may be a bit more hardwaring for the younger ones ???

TechSupp Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 +1 for these, bought quite a few now, only 4 broken so far, well not broken just staff not checking things, the silicon ear pads are removable, little ones pulled some off and staff have not checked and so plastic ring that secures it to headphones are now missing!
witch Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 We have had so many issues with this we are thinking of buying in cheap in-ear type headphones and making the parents buy a set for their little darlings.
bladedanny Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 We buy the cheapest we can get. We've found even the most expensive headphones are only as good as their weakest link, usually the jack or the wire. At our school expensive break just as often as cheap, so we go for the cheap.
CESIL Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I got some with Tesco vouchers last year that are from TTS. (Easi-Headphones) They are pretty strong but the best bit is that the cable plugs into the headphones so they pull out instead of breaking and are easily replaceable anyway.
