Hi folks,

 

This thread has been started so you can have a single place to stay up to date on every VeryPC competition, giveaway, event, special offer and announcement on EduGeek. Here is where we will announce when each competition is due to start or if we've just posted a great new special offer for the EduGeek community. Just hit 'Subscribe to this Thread' under 'Thread Tools' above this post and you'll know every time* we have something new for you to win, save money on or enjoy.

 

 

*Remember that your notifications for new posts from subscribed threads will need to be activated, or you'll need to keep an eye on your subscribed threads folder though your EduGeek cpanel yourself.

 

So whenever we start a new competition or have something juicy and interesting to draw your attention to we'll make a post here directing you to the new thread where you can join in. The main action will still occur in each dedicated thread of course, but announcements for all VeryPC activity will be made here, giving you a central location to keep an eye on us and never miss out on an opportunity for prize winning and fun.

I guess we can't avoid that, but the main chatter will be going on on the actual competition threads rather than here. Plus, in here it's likely to be quiet for a bit, then a flurry of chatter when I announce a new competition, then quiet once the chat moves to the competition thread. That little flurry will be your notice - wait for the flurry!

Yup @kearton was standing there in his BMTB T-shirt so I crept up and whispered "bring me the box" into his ear. He turned and bellowed it right back into my face. It was an awesome moment!

Actually, it's really nice to see you shouting out as you subscribe, but not, of course, actually necessary. Does anyone know a way to look up how many subscribers a thread actually has? It seems to be one of the stats that is not easily viewable.
