Is there anywhere in the entire world I can get one of these from? My company attends the BETT show however I didn't attend last year so I couldn't grab one of the newer ones.

This only came about becasue I was looking for a tool and found the lanyard described in one of my colleague's drawer, it's probably been their years and never seen the light of day and he won't give me it. 😒😢

I have searched and seen this posted a few times and in an older thread from 2016 there was mention of a online store the new site or something, is this still the case? Or is there a place I can buy one from?

I often bring a few spares home from BETT for the occasional emergency, but we were cleaned out this year. They'll have had more for ISTC, but won't have brought them back on the plane.

So I am afraid you will have to wait until conference or BETT next year when supplies will be replenished... unless someone not on the 'staff' has a spare

I've been desperate for a lanyard for years - I never get to go to BETT because I can't justify it for my job role (and I'd probably freak out at the crowds), but one of my colleagues in a different team got to go this year and I strong-armed her into bringing me back a Lanyard so now I have one and will likely wear it until it falls apart - it's already looking a bit dye-stained around the neck from where it's rubbing against my dark clothes.

There was talk of an online shop but I don't think it really went anywhere. Maybe Edugeek ought to have an etsy listing or something?

Don't panic! There will be opportunities to get your hands on these very soon.

Weirdly the blue (with yellow writing) lanyards were a bit if a stop-gap after our usual supplier couldn't get our original Yellow (with blue writing) lanyards, but people seem to like them and refer to them as the retro ones.

I have some of both in the office somewhere so may do a 'Send me a SAE' thing next week.

I'll just have to find out how many we have left first.

I read this on iSpy as 'EduGeek Blue & Yellow Leotard'!

Gee thanks

Now I'm going to have that image in my head for days

(exactly what image I'm not saying)

That would be amazing! Thank you.

I meant to have a look yesterday, but as the M6 was shut down and all traffic being diverted through Preston decided it best not to add to the problem.

I shall let you all know on Monday with any luck.

I've got one* - from EDIT 2014 if I remember correctly. How much is it worth? :p

*And I am talking lanyards not leotards now!

I read that as leopards!

I then started to get ideas, but I don't think our insurance would cover it.

Seriously, humanity missed a trick with Big Cats. We domesticated Wolves to help us hunt, but honestly Cats are much more effective hunters. The itty bitty ones domesticated themselves because it was a symbiotically beneficial arrangement - we attract rodents, they eat rodents, we let them live near us, they kill rodents. Win.

But we ought to have domesticated Big Cats really - can you imagine how awesome it would be to have a pet Panther? Or a Jaguar? Or a Leopard?
