Hi, We have a stack of for Brocade ICX 7750's We have an error know that when we run write memory it is failing to copy to the 3rd and 4th members. These two are across our site with single mode fiber in between. Has anyone come across this before?

Hi all As most of you will be aware, Ruckus have had a busy year. Part of the acquisition by Brocade has been a focus on unifying the technologies and the channels they appear in. We were invited to their UK HQ and allowed a play around in their demo suite, we asked if we could invite interested parties along on future trips and they couldn't have been more inviting. Brocade have an incredible demo suite in their UK Headquarters, consisting of several full size racks filled with many different variations of switches from their Campus/Access (ICX) & Data Center (VDX) portfolio. They also have a large array of alternative vendor’s servers and storage options to be able to demonstrate how effective their hardware is in a ‘live’ environment. Brocade are open to us taking any interested individuals to their offices to dive into said demo suite letting us not only show off their capability, but really get hands on with their syntax. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to see how Brocade envisage how networking will take shape and to understand their unique take on architecture, design & methodologies for modern networks, such as Campus Fabrics; turning a set of geographically distributed switches up to 10km apart, appear and act as a single logical domain. If this is of interest, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via PM/reply. Following the interest and success of the last webinar we ran with Ruckus that looked at the ZoneDirector to SmartZone migration we have decided to run a second that will introduce the Ruckus ICX wired portfolio and review the ability to manage both wired and wireless together. The Ruckus ICX Family of fixed form-factor switches works together to simplify network set-up and management, enhance security, minimise troubleshooting and make upgrades easy. They employ a low-latency, non-blocking architecture ensures excellent throughput for the most demanding applications. ICX switches work seamlessly with Ruckus Wi-Fi access points and Ruckus SmartZone network controllers to deliver the most performance and cost-effective unified wired & wireless access solutions on the market today. This is a great webinar for those that have Ruckus and are interested in the co-management of wired/wireless, and for all those that may have wired network upgrade plans in the future and are interested in reviewing what’s available from Ruckus. Titles: Net-Ctrl - ICX Introduction Date: Tuesday, 2 April 2019 Time: 10:00 Duration: 1 hr 10 mins In terms of what will be covered in the ICX webex: • An introduction to the Ruckus ICX L2/L3 switch product family • Benefits of ICX architecture and key features • Future Wi-Fi standards driving the need for multi-gig ports and 802.3at/bt PoE • ICX management with Ruckus SmartZone network controller If you would like to attend, please let me know on this thread or on a PM and I will send through the webinar information.

Over the last 12 months, we have seen a lot of interest in the Ruckus ICX switch portfolio. If you are planning a networking upgrade they’re well worth a look. One of the key takeaways clients have liked is their lifetime warranty that provides Next-Business Day replacement should the unit fail. You also get software and maintenance patches included. In addition, a lot of schools have liked that they can manage and configure their switches via a SmartZone, even if they don’t have Ruckus Access Points. This allows for easier management and single pane of glass approach to their networking management. We really like their licensing feature that allows you to buy a solution that suits you now with the opportunity to upgrade your uplink ports. Their pricing is extremely competitive in the EDU space. If you would like more information on the ICX portfolio or would like us to look at putting forward a topology proposal please send me a PM. Other benefits include: Simple, scalable stacking Standard Ethernet via SFP+ providing long-distance stacking (up to 10 km) Up to 12 units per stack In Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) for patch updates Hitless failover of management Power & Performance Non-blocking, no over-subscription Multi-Gig 1/2.5/5/10/40/100G Leading power density: PoE/PoE+/uPoE/PoH (95 W) PoE on all ports with one power supply PoE+ available on all ports
