Hello everyone, We have just set up an RD Farm which consists of two RD Session Hosts with Connection Broker to help with load balancing - and it seems to work quite well. We also have RD Web Access on the gateway server as well. Our setup is: Gateway Server - gateway.domain.com (Joined to domain.local) - This is accessible via the internet Session Host 1 - SessionHost1.domain.local Session Host 2 - SessionHost2.domain.local My question is: Is it possible to open up Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc) on a computer and then type in gateway.domain.com which then logs the user onto one of the two session hosts. When trying it, it seems that it tries to connect the user to the RD Gateway Server rather than one of the two session host servers. Any help regarding trying to get it to pass the remote desktop connection to one of the session hosts rather than connecting to the gateway server. I know that you can specify the Gateway server and then enter the FQDN (sessionhost1.domain.local) in the computer to connect to. But we were just wondering if there is a way of it automatically passing these RD connections to the session hosts. Thanks in advance!! J.Worth.

Hello everyone, We have the following setup for our terminal server environment: SERVER-TSG: RD Gateway RD Licensing RD Connection Broker RD Web Access SERVER-TS1: RD Session Host SERVER-TS2: RD Session Host We are finding that when connecting to a "full" remote desktop connection it hangs on Configuring Remote Connection for about 1-2 mins before actually connecting. This is also the same when launching a RemoteApp. We have configured our certificate on all of the servers and we are not getting any certificate errors. We have a dns record: RD-FARM.SCHOOL.LA.SCH.UK which points to both of the session hosts. Our main question is: Is there anyway of reducing the amount of time it takes for a remote desktop connection to be established? Thanks in advance! J.Worth

Hi there, We are currently setting up several thin client PCs to connect to a new terminal server farm. To automatically connect to the farm, I have created a Remote Desktop Connection and dropped it into Startup on each thin client. Therefore when the thin client is booted up, it automatically connects to the Terminal server farm. However, if a user closes their remote sessions or logs off, it then takes them back to the thin client desktop. My question is, if the remote desktop connection is closed/logged off, is there a way to automatically re-establish the remote desktop connection so the thin client then reconnects to the logon page on the ts farm? Any pointers would be a great help! Cheers Rich

Hi All, CamSump and I were lucky enough to get permission to fly around an active Slate Quarry recently which was great fun FPV with all the equipment around. The day ended with a tiny crash that destroyed my quadcopter where as the crash in the video merely shifted my undercarriage a bit lol Best viewed full screen @720p CamSump and I were invited to fly around a Wortha Farm which is local to us, Its set right on the edge of Dartmoor and looks out onto a beautiful church where the sun sets behind it, Amazing Best viewed full screen @720p

Hi All, Here is a break from the normal type of video I do. This is a beautiful farm with some amazing ground to fly FPV around, I have already made 2 other video's from this place having FPV fun. This time I handed all the footage to CamSumps brother who is a bit of a video wiz and here is the outcome...Some of the shots I would not of picked myself due to jello etc but its nice to see someone elses point of view of a few flights Brentor Heights & Lower Brentor View at Wortha Farm (Long Version) best viewed full screen @720p The video below has less full on FPV in it Brentor Heights & Lower Brentor View at Wortha Farm best viewed full screen @720p Here is a video in my style I made at this farm...
