Yes you are right. I have set it on the Core. On the Unifi Switch I set VLANs too rather than Corporate. When I plug in a known working AP (Ruckus) it picks up an IP on the untagged VLAN but will not allow my phone to connect through to the BYOD VLAN. I know the AP works because if I plug it back into one of my existing edge switches my phone will pick up an IP on the correct VLAN. in the Networks section I have added in all our existing VLANs as "VLAN Only" networks. I have changed the IP addressing of the pre-existing "LAN" network so it reflects our Native VLAN. In profiles>Switch Ports I have created a profile called BYOD which has the Native VLAN as "LAN" and has all the other VLANS as Tagged. On the switch I have attached the BYOD profile to ports 1-12 Does that all sound right?

When I go to DHCP Relay under Services I see "UniFi Security Gateway Required. Please connect and adopt a UniFi Security Gateway to enable DHCP relay configuration". Is this something else I need?

Just bought a Unifi US-24-250W switch and I am trying to configure it as an edge switch. Got the controller up and running and I have added in our VLANS. Where in the controller would I add in an IP Helper address for each VLAN please?

That just happened to be an application I was trying to install, it happens with various applications. Some install fine. Latest one was the Unifi Controller software. So it's not directly related to mirroring360.

*bump* Has no one come across something like this? I have tried all the stuff that a Google Search comes up with and I still have the issue.

Probably been asked before but is it cheaper to print ID Badges yourselves or get an external company to do them? I am thinking proper plastic cards not laminated paper ones. We have requests for badges for new staff, replacement of lost badges and we have to do all the Y12 badges when the Academic year starts. Currently we do laminated paper ones which we want to move away from and go with proper plastic cards.

For staff we use MS RDS locked down so no downloads/uploads or printing permitted at home. Its a sandboxed environment as they can work as if they are in School and print to the school follow me printer for collection next working day. I personally still use anyconnect to remote into servers etc.

My Windows 7 machine has suddenly started displaying an error message when I try to install software. Doesnt happen on all software but a few recently. I have even re-imaged my machine. Windows updates are installed and up to date. Any ideas please?

We use CS5 and have the same dilemma. Do we stick with CS5 as we have paid for it or dish out over £2000 per year for 100 seat licence. Cannot afford that let alone a full site licence to cover every pc/laptop in school.

I thought the recommendation for APs was centrally placed on the ceiling rather than on a wall?

I had Replication running between our 2 Hyperv Hosts. I had to fail over some of the VMs to the replica server. I left them there for a while but now the replica server had run out of space, i guess due to the replica data that was being saved to it. Now I have removed replication completely so that the VMs on the Replica server are now the Primary ones. Even though replication has been removed there are still large files in the hyper-v replica folder . Can I delete these safely?

Just doing a trial of 3CX with an Orbtalk SIP Trunk. Got it working but there is a considerable audio delay of about 3-4 seconds when making an external call. The 3CX server is running on a VM and in a Voice VLAN along with 1 Yealink handset. Anyone know how to remove this delay please?
