We still have this issue with youtube. Has anyone come across this?

signed out of the account straightaway and there was an option to unlink this pc which I selected. I assumed that this would allow me to delete the files but it didnt. Dont really want to connect back up to her account as it will then sync new changes and take up even more space on my laptop!

I have my own personal laptop which my wife used one day as her work one was broken. My wife logged into onedrive with school account and now on my laptop I have a onedrive folder filled with subject related resources (no PII). Her work laptop is now working again and I need to delete these files from the laptop but dont want it to sync back to onedrive and delete them there too. As you can guess I am not a onedrive user so I have no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

We had the same thought but each school has their own firewall/filtering and DNS set up. The TrustUser could go to any school, even where other accounts can access youtube but still not be able to access youtube.

We have a Google tenancy for our Trust with some of our schools as sub domains. We have Trust accounts and each school has their own Google accounts all under the same tenancy. For example we have [email protected] and then we have [email protected] and [email protected] The [email protected] since last week cannot view youtube videos and always gets "Video Unavailable" no matter which school site they try from. [email protected] can view youtube videos at any of the school sites. The Trust Users are based at 1stSchool but cannot get youtube. [email protected] since last week cannot view youtube videos and always gets "Video Unavailable" no matter which school site they try from. If [email protected] uses a hotspot then youtube videos show. We have had Google Support look at our console settings and they cannot see why Youtube videos would show as unavailable. As youtube is not a core service they refer us to Youtube for support which is nigh on impossible to get hold of!! Has anyone come across this kind of issue?

Have any schools actually paid for Gemini Education or Premium? It just seems too expensive at that price point! At a large Secondary with 90 teachers that would be over £16k a year just for Education and Premium would be even more. For schools that are already paying for Education Plus this is a step too far. Gemini Education should be included in Plus and Premium could be at additional cost.

Unfortunately I don’t remember how we resolved it and I no longer work at that school. @DeGrimmy may remember.

Our Data Lead is looking to get Power BI Desktop but there are differing thoughts on hardware requirements to run this. MS say; 4GB or more recommended At least 1440x900 or 1600x900 (16:9) required 1 gigahertz (GHz) 64-bit (x64) processor or better recommended. On other sites I have seen 16GB & Chris Webb's BI Blog suggests that ideally you want 32GB Does anyone use Power BI Desktop and can provide real life specs for a 12 School MAT?

We are heavily invested in Chromecasts across our schools as teachers use cast moderator. If cast moderator is now moved to this more expensive device it means that it will cost 3 times as much to equip each classroom with cast moderator capabilities.

Anyone in a Trust managed to get registered for Canva so all their schools can use it or does each school have to register individually? We are registered at Trust level but as each school is a sub domain in our Google tenancy attempts to register the schools was rejected by Canva with the reason that the Trust is already registered. Not sure how they knew the each school was a sub domain of our main Google domain!

Ask them if they could collaborate with someone like the National College to create a video course that asks questions, doesn’t let you skip parts and prints a certificate at the end.

Prime day is 16th July so this price may appear soon! I might just wait and see.

Our usual Chromebook supplier is unable to supply Google Chromecasts for some reason and looking on Amazon you seem to be limited to 3 units. Even the Google Store limits you to 5. I need to buy at least 12 to start off with.

What about offsite when they are using 4G/5G? Should that be filtered too as it is a 'work' device?

@ibpalle - been so busy lately that I had forgotten I started that thread too!! I couldnt get the URL pattern suggested by @Steve21 to work. @ibpalle - any ideas how I would enter that pattern into our smoothwall box?

We are finding that a lot of emails now have links in them that smoothwall is blocking. For example Pearson have sent an email with a big purple button on it "Upload your spreadsheet and complete you confirmation form". Hovering over this button you see that it goes to "url4463.customerservices.pearson.com" but clicking the link and Smoothwall kicks in with "The server's certificate did not match the domain name". It doesnt seem to be just Pearson as we have had these kinds of links in lots of emails. Is there any way around this?
