  1. Thank you, just a little worried now that the e-mail address I sent it to isn't monitored regularly, I might drop the e-mail address you've used to ask if it was received. Thanks again, at least it has given me another option since it would be inappropriate to use my current employer's phone system to make the enquiry during work hours and I imagine that they work similar hours to me and as such there will be no-one there if I call from home this evening.
  2. Did you e-mail through the recruitment@ e-mail address mentioned in the document? Just curious since it would be interesting to know that what I sent through got there.
  3. After that I am wondering if not having heard anything is a good thing or a bad thing, at least they seem to be considerate enough to inform the unsuccessful candidates unlike many other positions I have applied for.
  4. Hopefully the e-mail containing my CV and covering letter appeared in the [email protected] inbox around about 1PM on Monday, hopefully that was early enough to be considered.
  5. Well, the packaging went smoothly, once we have an opportunity to test if it works I'll post the results, we have one more scanner left to be pressed into use and so it'll probably be over the next couple of days.
  6. In the past we've have reasonable success with packages for the CanonScan LiDE ranges, these have been created on an RM Network using their packaging software which is basically Winstall LE. I can see no obvious reason why any driver and software shouldn't be packaged sucessfully. Maybe you would be better off asking which scanners people have been unable to package successfully. Later on this afternoon I'll be trying to package up the drivers for the CanonScan LiDE 100 (nice scanner, USB powered), I'll let you know how I get on.
  7. I will also put my vote in for Dreamweaver if you want the complete control over your project, however for quick/dirty/goodlooking/actuallyquiteuseful sites I can heartily recommend "WebSiteX5 Evolution 8", it's wizard based, but for a quick solution it can't be beaten.
  8. Just had the most intense but short thunderstorm I've seen in a while, unfortunately it's soaked about 30 machines sat adjacent to open windows, so I guess that they'll be drying out overnight and we'll see how many still work tomorrow.
  9. I really should check back here more often, I'll try and get a letter of application and CV in by e-mail over the course of the weekend. Thanks for the heads up, it looks exactly what I have been looking for over the last few months. Thanks again, maybe we'll meet in person soon. Regards Rob King
