    Yeah paper based sign isn’t GDPR compliant. They share personal information with anyone who looks in it so it’s not secure.

    i had a quote for a school with just under 200 kids was like £199 that was before christmas i cant if its based on the size of the school or just a standard price.

    I don’t deal with anything that would be a conflict. Fixing a smart board or making the sound work etc doesn’t mean I can’t be one I don’t deal with the tech side they recommend stuff it then goes to head and then tell them yes or now and Create tickets for them when come site.

    That’s going to be really interesting as councils don’t have them themselves or they bring head hunted to private business. Our council no way could provide anyone let alone for school who do t have someone suitable

    Hi guys, I am looking to create how our data flows within our school and different department but I was wondering if anyone had a website or software which if not free doesn't cost a lot or maybe someone has template they be willing to share ? Any help would be welcomed. Thanks

    Well I have done it I just now need to redirect the folders when I put the second hard drive instead of optical drive

    We use bitlocker on staff laptops that go off site

    Not it manager I don’t deal with tech side I just play middle ground I make sure the head and business manager understand what the IT people are saying. I also fix the odd whiteboard, sound I don’t have access to servers or anything like that I go off what recommended us my understanding to accept it or not then feedback to head which don’t understand

    I’ve only been at my school 2 years most of the stuff is before my time except IT security that’s what I’ve sorted been involved in.

    But until I’m officially the data protection officer I can’t do that I made sure the IT system upto scratch as I deal with the tech support we have but everything else I can’t touch yet but I’m aware that the biggest job and educating staff

    My school won’t have bothered asking that question but me knowing what do tech wise I know our systems are secure with encryption and that have suitable security but when you only one who understands technology it can had to explain
