Sadly this didn’t work. I didn’t have the option with cog so couldn’t delete. So still searching for a solution.

Hi, I have Sophos home security and it’s picked up a threat but it’s in a backup on my time machine. It’s can’t automatically delete it so it needs me to do it manually but I can’t because I get the following message. This operation can’t be completed because backup items can’t be modified. I am using High Sierra OS I have attached the image of the error below. Any help would be much appreciated

I have a look at the minute what put in the cloud downloading into a folder on my Mac at the min annoying. But I do use both system.

I love it I have the drive on Mac and works great to sync via the desktop than browser. And I can open my file edit and the file updates. Excellent best service I experienced. Onedrive I don’t like as I don’t want the file kept locally I want free my harddrive and just access everything on the cloud.

Do you know anywhere that shows or explains how to generate them

Yeah that the basic idea I had but can’t seem to find cloud storage that offers it and if there another way I need to learn how to do it lol

No I have another google account that i use. I share resources I make and lesson etc but when I want to share them with people I want them to have their own link. This would help identify when my stuff get shared without me sharing who originally had it.

I have no idea how to do this might be a little advanced for me lol

Hi I am wanting to share a files but I want each individual user I share with to have their own code. Is there a cloud system which day could generate eg 50 links for a file in bulk instead of doing it individual once I shared 1 code? I do have G-Drive but I don’t think that has this feature. Thanks in advance.

Yeah that sound good as if we recycle it don’t have to pay and if they clear and sell stuff on and send us a donation gets around all the paper work. Do they provide certificate as under GDPR we need one and a contract with them

Yeah happy for them to go to another school. I just have to go about it in a way which takes pressure/task of the business manager so she only getting it signed and filed etc. Is there anything else I need to know about selling them. Guess we have to invoice them the buyer with vat then pay the vat where need to go.

There is a button in the admin section which takes off pupils. It was pushed through on an update and it caused us issues get kids signed in late. It can be enabled and disabled depend on needs/choice

Hi, I’ve got a few pieces of IT equipment which isn’t needed anymore in school. Somethings have some value I have a couple of old servers I could get a couple hundred for and old switches which I could £20-30. With budget cuts every penny counts and don’t want to giving things a way for free if get something back. Spoke to my business manager they got to be written off and taken to governors. She didn’t go into detail but said selling anything would have to add VAT. Is there any other way I can do it and maximise the benefits to school. I also need to know any free equipment recycling which is free and couple provide disposal certificates. We based in the North West.

I've rebooted about 5 times. It gets a bit further each time, but only a bit.
