We previously utilized BenQ and Iiyama displays, we recently transitioned to Prowise Touch Screens, which have significantly exceeded our expectations.The Prowise TVs offer a lot of features: 100W USB-C port with display support located at the back of the TV (our last BENQ model had this at the front which was useless), integrated Wi-Fi, Apple, Chromecast and Miracast screen casting, as well as a built-in subwoofer. We are looking for a thermal imaging camera that can be just plugged in to Windows or Chromebook and will work as a webcam without the need to install drivers. Our science bought TOPDON TC004 but this required drivers and they just don't work. I've bought FLIR TG275 assuming that the premium brand will just work, but this one just charges up when connected to a laptop. Our budget is up to £1k. Our science department just needs something that can be viewed on Windows / Chromebook Camera app so it them can be displayed on the TV.

With the Adobe user license you get a shared storage that can be assigned to users. All the work is saved in Adobe cloud and you can create storage quota for your users. As for the loss functionality - this is what I don't know. We received a quotation from Academia for around 1000 users and the license also includes Photoshop for the web. I've trialled Photoshop on web for 3 months and this just worked fine. A few filters were missing, the interface was different. Is there a specific curriculum guidance that IT / Photography teachers needs to follow in secondary school that would exclude using Photoshop on the web ?

Our school is planning to order Photoshop for web. The idea is simple - we would like our pupils to access Photoshop at home on any device. This is a question for educators. Can Photoshop for web deliver all curriculum planning / lessons or the web functionality is too limited and Photoshop for desktop is required. This applies to hardware, not license so in this case it's not legal to charge parents the license fee as they can't "take the license with them"

Most of the 1:1 schools I've talked to are either: Asking parents to order their own Chromebooks and ask them to cover the management costs - like in this threat. Asking parents to pay for everything - usually a one-off payment between £250 - £375 Paying for everything just to find out that few years later they can't afford it. No. 1 creates an equality problem (pupils using different devices). Parents still need to pay for devices and management. There is an issue that parents' own device is managed by the school so Timmy can't watch Netflix at home on the device that parents paid for. No. 2 is just wrong. No. 3 - Most of the schools don't take the damages into consideration and they struggle to repair the Chromebooks damages. I've seen so many Chromebooks graveyards where the screen replacement screen cost almost as much as a new device.
