Those two apps are a core part of the whole new start menu\tiles\search UI. Did you disable the policy link or just delete all the entries in the application control policy section?

Any errors in the Application Event Logs? Specifically Event ID 1000-1001?

Try changing the [Everyone] or [users] permissions on [%SYSTEMDRIVE%\ProgramData\Avid] to [Modify]? -
There was a patch available previously. Seemed to work fine.

If you're mapping drives via GPO, try leaving the 'reconnect' checkbox unchecked.

If they have it.. try updating the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers.

I never got drive letter shortcuts to work like that either. I created shortcuts in the users start menu and named them like 'Drive N' 'Drive T' etc. Then set DesktopApplicationID to Drive.N, Drive.T etc.

Why Pro? It's GPO support is limited.

My personal favourite during my Windows 10 rollout is: Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Administrative Templates -> System -> User Profiles -> Only allow local user profiles ... Goodbye roaming profile headaches.

No idea how anyone can afford such things. I don't have working heating any more, and even when I did it stayed on 24/7 just to keep the temperature above 10°. Still saving for a new boiler, had hopes for ECO 3 scheme but that's still not materialised.

Don't bother with SCCM, it's a broken, buggy, steaming pile. Save yourself a headache and use anything else.

With my setup I'm not hiding any folders or shortcuts, just removing the Users ACL entry on the shortcut files. I'm not setting Deny read or anything.
